I ordered boots the same size as my Altitude wide boots, hoping to get a better fit, because I have long narrow feet and the Altitude is too wide for me. These boots felt okay at home, but out on the trail I soon realised that my toes were touching the front of the boot on downhills. The length inside is probably 5 to 10 mm shorter than my Altitude boots. Go figure. So now I have to sell these and order the next size up, just to get the length I need. As per some other reviews, the inner sole that comes with the boot is useless and should be replaced before even wearing them. Otherwise I like the look and feel of the boot, the width is generous for a medium, and they weigh close to half of what my Altitude 5s weigh.

Did the job for a year ... then started to come apart ... to be expected when glued parts are not stitched ! Nothing lasts forever but they did keep the feet warm and protected ... I abused them for many months thru renovation projects ... great tread design for a variety of terrain and surfaces ...

The good, these boots were a good fit and very comfortable from the beginning. The bad, there was almost no level of waterproof or even water resistance. The sole started ripping off from the front in about 5 weeks if that. I do work outside but it's not rough terrain or anything of the sort maybe some light mud or gravel here or there. Got a $35 pair of boots from Walmart thst held up better than these and kept my feet dry. If you can get them cheap it might be worth it just don't expect longevity unless you're walking on carpet most of the day.

Fit is nice (11.5) . Have not had a chance to wear them for long so not sure about durability or waterproof-ability yet. They do look to be very nicely constructed, not a stitch out of place or hanging thread on this pair. They look great. I'm pretty sure they'll hold up good and if so, they'd certainly be a great deal for the price. I bought my first of HI-TECH boots in the early 1990s (what a fun period of time). But they've always held up great. I've always been impressed with HI-TECs style/appearance. They make a good looking boot. I'm stickin' with 'em, cause I lllike 'em. Thanks HI-TEC store!

I bought these to replace a pair that have seen nearly 15 years of yardwork. This new pair seem narrower. They will need some use to get as comfortable as the old pair, but so far they are great!
