The HFS 0-6 Inch Dial Caliper is a battery-free mechanical measuring tool designed for precise imperial measurements in machine shops, garages, woodworking areas, inspection stations and home workshops. With a 0-6 inch measuring range, ±0.001 inch specified accuracy and 0.001 inch dial graduations, the caliper supports 4 common measuring functions: outside dimensions, inside dimensions, depth and step measurements. It is suitable for checking shafts, holes, hardware, machined components and other workpieces where repeatable dimensional measurement is required. The thumb-operated fine adjustment roller provides controlled jaw positioning, while the locking screw helps hold the selected position during inspection or comparison. Its mechanical dial requires no batteries and incorporates a shock-resistant design for practical everyday use. The caliper is constructed from precision- finished hardened carbon steel and includes a fitted protective storage case. This model uses an imperial inch scale and is different from HFS inch/metric dual-reading dial caliper models.
