The down side is that the scale on the side means essentially nothing. I'm only using it on 2X4 material so I have it set all the way up. Also, I had to 3D print a spacer to prevent the material from leaning due to a large gap at the base when the jig is set all the way up. The up side is that it does exactly what it's supposed to.
