I have a 3 year old Border Collie (like the one pictured in the main product photo). And people who meet her never believe she’s a heavy chewer. But holy cow. She has practically torn a Nylabone to shreds within an hour of me giving it to her. We actually have to be so careful about what we get because of this. I have tried probably 10-12 different rubber type chew toys specifically advertised as for heavy chewers. And with almost all of them, they end up in the trash within a couple days. So when I got this, I was cautiously optimistic. But it’s actually turned out to be a big hit for my little Zoe. It has really hung in there better than anything else I’ve gotten her, which says a lot. The only downside is the green leafy part at the top. It does feel pretty durable to the touch. But within an hour, I was walking around the house picking up little green rubber bits all over the carpet. I still recommend it. But take some heavy duty scissors and cut the top part off before giving it to your pup. Finally, the other bonus is that it has a squeaker that she loves, but isn’t ridiculously easy to activate and make squeak. So it’s the one squeaker that I don’t mind her chewing while I’m on a call, because it’ll only squeak a couple times, and isn’t obnoxiously loud

The leaves do not crinkle at all despite being blatantly advertised to do so. A bit of a bummer because my dog loves crinkly toys but whatever. It is a good toy: very thick tough rubber, the non-crinkly fabric is thick and hard to tear, and it squeaks good. My dog likes it. Which just makes me wonder why the manufacturer felt that they had to lie about what it does…but oh well

This is my doggo’s favorite toy… he likes it so much I got him two! He chewed off the “leaves” and broke the squeaky mechanism in one of them. So we’re back down to one and it’s slowly also losing its squeak, but he still loves it!

My Great Pyrenees grand dog received this from us this past Easter. He usually destroys toys within minutes but this carrot has stood the test of time. I have to say it’s green leaves did not survive long, but Mr. Carrot himself is putting up a good fight against those huge teeth. Definitely 5 stars in my opinion!

The leaves crinkle and are fairly easy to destroy (dog has already chewed them up) but the actual carrot part has yet to be destroyed. I will say keep an eye on your dog the first few times, as mine was trying to fling it using the leaves, but otherwise it's a great toy.

This toy is very hard even my dog can not squeak it He likes the green part but what would help if there ere some soft parts on top the rubber carrot and not so hard to squeak ...

My labs typically chew iup a toy within a few days but this has lasted a month. Very well made, the leaves have not separated from the carrot...still in one piece but also gives them chewing opportunities.
