I like this cat tree, it's very small although it is unstable (we ended up putting weights at the bottom to keep it from shearing off to the side when one or two of our 8-lb cats would sit in it), though it does seem sturdy. However putting it together was a bit of a pain- it was mostly easy but the instructions are inaccurate with the big square bases. They do not show that the bases are different in screw/hole placement in the list of parts or in the actual instruction pages themselves, which led to me rather annoyingly having to deconstruct basically the whole thing and put it together again. That was a bit of a headache, and an avoidable one too because otherwise the instructions are completely servicable! Otherwise though I like it, though probably best for smaller cats, this thing is itty bitty. Our cats (ranging 7-10lbs) fit in it well but they prefer snug spaces and don't sprawl very much, but yours may be different and a big tom cat is unlikely to fit comfortably at all.

This was very easy to put together, even with my cat trying to use it before it was put together. And yes, even the box was a great treat for my little guy! After it was put together and put in position, my car inspected it and immediately fell in love with it. I couldn’t give it five stars for two reasons: 1. There is a level of the cat tree that has a white strap hanging from it; in the instructions (when it’s time to add that piece to the tree), the image doesn’t include the strap. There are no written instructions, so the strap seems to just ‘be there’. After the entire tree is put together, however, you find that the strap is positioned specifically (this is not evident in the original illustrations). I put this piece on backwards, because the instructions weren’t clear about where the strap should be. By the time I discovered what the use of the strap was, the entire tree was already assembled. 2. My cat is 7 months old; the first place on the tree he took a nap in was the hammock. However, he was way too big for it. This hammock is definitely for smaller cats. After my cat woke up from that nap in the hammock, he discovered the top-most platform on the tree. This had become his new favorite place to sit and nap on the tree; however, my heart skips a beat every time he gets up there as the entire tree wobbles as he climbs to the top. I’m also not a huge fan of the exposed screws (the tops of the screws in several places are not hidden by the fabric on the platforms), but I’m not entirely sure there’s any way around that. All around, however, my cat seems to love his tree, so I’m happy with the purchase.

This is a sturdy tree that comes with a wall anchor for larger cats. Our two kittens love this tree so much we bought a second for upstairs. The fabric is a plush and very soft. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble and it's very sturdy. Way better value than the pet stores!!

It came with all the parts, instructions were clear and I built it by myself within an hour. The kitties love it, are already sleeping on it and playing with it. It just took some time but they love all the spaces, like the bed on the top, the little hammock or other bed on the side. Everything is really sturdy, soft and comfortable for them to play in and lay down on top of. The color is also great too! And for the price I think it was definitely worth it.
