One of the best cat trees I've ever purchased! Great instructions, easy to assemble, and my cats absolutely love it! The extra-large bed on top is a plus! Their other cat tree had a smaller bed, and they always hung off the sides....that is no longer a problem :-) Love the dark gray color, and since this is for 4 cats, there are enough cubbies for each. This was a great purchase. I was nervous at first as my kitty is so picky. But it was a great price for the size. So I gave it a try. It was so easy to assemble, it is so sturdy and on top of everything it is cute. My large fur baby LOVES it. Had this almost a year now and its great quality. Easy to put together. Doesnt shed and is soft. My cat loves the scratching posts. Color is as shown. Good value for the price. Very sturdy and heavy. My 3 year old cat climbs it like a tree trunk and it doesnt waiver. Just bought one for my daughter.

We bought this for our 5 cats to replace the two cat trees we were using. We went UP instead of adding more. This cat tree is the same quality as the others we have had with nice carpet, thin sisal for scratching, lots of resting spots, toys, and a quick assembly. The difference with this one is in the attempt to go taller for the same price point, they have some functional flaws. We have regular sized cats and the landings in-between levels are way too small and cumbersome for a grown adult cat. It's like they planned for cats to stay kittens forever when designing this. The whole top level is a big square bed fit for a KING kitty, but how does that king get up there? The first landing is about 2 ft off the ground, and they have to jump sideways another 2 ft to get to the next landing. Then they have to walk over whatever cat is in the hammock bed to get to the short access to the top landing pad. From there, they have to do a 180° turn on a 8" ledge to finally jump to the top. If that wasn't hard enough, they have to do that all in reverse with gravity to get down! This would be a 5 star item if there were platforms spiraling up the cat tree to each level, and ending at the top so the cats could easily get to and utilize the whole thing. My cats range from 3 months to 4 years old. This tree is almost too hard for the kitten to even get to the first landing, and too weird for the oldest cat to safely get to the tallest perch (which is his favorite). We modified the design for the top ledge by flipping the install on the short and long cylinders that hold it on, so there was a bigger hole for the cats to get through. Also, due to the height on this being so tall, it is a tipping and earthquake hazard so we used the cord that was provided with the tree to attach to the wall, but felt in needed more top support, so we also used an "L" bracket to secure the top level to the wall. You will need to hit a stud, or use anchors. This is not a free standing cat tree if you value your cats. The base is not wider than the other platforms, so it is unsteady if not secured. Once attached to the wall though, it is very sturdy. With some adjustments, this is a great cat tree. My cats are already in love with the hammock, the house, and the top tier! ... show more

    • Very Unstable
Base is way too small for overall size of unit making in very unstable for large cats. Side platforms too small. Hard for larger and older cats to get to the top platform because transition from hammock to side platform is difficult. See photos from manufacturer and reviews. Overall good quality and easy to build for these types of products. I assume well suited for smaller cats but would still be unstable without securing it to wall or floor. Attached wall security provided only keeps the unit from falling over and doesn’t solve the stability issue. Would need larger base but I assume this would increase their packaging costs and that’s why there is a flaw in the design…to save the manufacturer money. ... show more

this is a really great cat tree with lots of places to snuggle up, hide and climb. My cats were so excited about it, they could not wait until it was finished before they were climbing on it. It is a difficult put together (mostly the cubby hole) but it is sturdy , well made and my cats LOVE it.
