All around winner. The cats navigate it nimbly, almost like squirrels lol. | Not hard to put together. Battery powered screwdriver helps. | Opted not to install post & perch on the top cubby, and no perch on the top outer post. Keeps the fur babies out of trouble w nearby furniture and light fixtures. Still plenty high, cats can lie on top cubby now. | I removed the little metal bells on the puff balls for safety reasons. Before I could attach said puff balls, my cats adopted them as their favorite toy, batting them around madly, eventually the poor puff balls gave out lol, have one left. But they love it.

The media could not be loaded. All 3 of my cats absolutely love this cat tower. I got rid of our old one last week because it was thrashed. With my old one, only 1 of the cats used it regularly. When I ordered this new one, I was concerned that I would have to put catnip on it to get my cats to warm up to it, but they were interested in using it before it was even built! I have arthritis and chronic pain, but I was able to build it myself. I laid out all the pieces according the the instructions and made sure all the parts were there. It took me about 2 hours to put together, but if I didn't have my health problems, it would have been done faster. When putting it together, I do have a suggestion. For the 2 houses, there are posts that go in the corners on the inside. I suggest putting in at least 2 of the posts (or all 4) before you try to put the hardware in the first post to secure it. This helps hold it's shape as you put it together. It seems quite sturdy. It only has a tiny bit of movement. My cats have used every part of it except the bottom hammock that is close to the floor. I have had it less than 24 hours so far though, so we shall see if they end up using that part as well. I'm waiting to anchor it to the wall because we are going to be painting the walls soon. For now I hung one of the extra ball toys from the white nylon strip. The cats have been laying in the large hammock and playing with the ball. This cat tree is in our livingroom. I plan on ordering either a second one, or the 70 inch Heybly cat tower to put in our computer room.

We've only had it for a few days. Easy to build. Allen wrench is included and is cheap like you'd expect, but it is fine for the job. No text in the instructions, but easy to follow pictures. I did screw up one thing - forgot the washer in one step as it is hard to see in the diagram - but easy fix to put in. Took me about a hour from open box to done. Mostly because there are quite a few pieces to this. The 'caves' you see in the pictures actually are all fabric and you have to add the included support posts to them. That's one one of the most annoying parts as wedging them in and getting the screws in the right spot makes the job slower than it should be. The little scratch pad/incline is kind of awkward in terms of how it is attached, two angle brackets at the top and 'free' at the bottom, but the cats don't seem to mind. Unless you have a 40lb cat, it should hold up fine. Mine came with an extra bracket that I may use to attach the bottom if I get around to it. Other than that it is surprisingly sturdy and it comes with a strap to attach to the wall for stability. I would use a different screw and a better drywall anchor than they supply unless you can find a stud that is convenient to where you want to set up the tower. I might also recommend attaching angle brackets from the base to the baseboard/floor molding for added stability, but purely optional. The cats love it. They were on it before it was completely built and have been in and out of it since. Overall good value in my opinion. I would recommend this. We'll see how it holds up over time.

Cats love it and easy to assemble. Amazon driver delivered to the wrong address and we are elderly and we had to go 3 houses down and carry it back to our house ourselves and it was very heavy.
