I'm not one that likes putting things together but I was pleasantly surprised that this was easy. It took me 45 minutes and it's built sturdy. This has probably been my most favorite cat tree I've ever purchased and my cats seem to love it. They both weigh over 25 lb. I got the lighter gray color.

I bought this cat tree after seeing at my neighbor's as we have similar layout and she put it between the kitten archway and the bathroom archway which is a perfect fit. It's narrow enough to fit in smaller/narrower spaces and my cats love it. The one issue is that on the top tier the cat bed type round rim starts to bend outward rather than staying straight up. I push it back up but it only stays upright for a while probably until one of my cats lays closer to the rim. Not a big deal. ... show more

This cat tree/condo arrived well-packaged. It took about 45 minutes from unpacking to finish building. All parts were labeled and fit well together. All tools are in the box. Each set of screws came with one extra. There were also 2 extra toy pompoms included. A manual was provided (multi-lingual including English and Spanish). The tree is quite compact and sturdy, no wobbles. The material is faux fur not carpeting. The fabric sheds a bit out of the box. I wiped everything with a damp cloth which helped a lot. The fabric is thin and may or may not withstand heavy and continuous scratching. My cat is not a heavy scratcher so it might hold up a long time. Only time will tell. There is no padding between board and fabric. An older or arthritic cat may not find it as comfortable. It's definitely a tree designed for a smaller or average sized cat. I would not recommend it as a single tree in a multiple cat household. It is a good fit for 1-2 cats or as a second tree in a household with several cats. It took me a little over two hours to assemble, but the result is amazing. My kitten loves this tower. He has places to hide, play and scratch all in one. I would definitely recommend this for anyone with cats.
