I looked at a LOT of big cat towers but most were too busy-- too packed with shelves and cubbies and offshoots that made them look unstable. This one had variety but looked more stable and proportionately built. And it was a good height. I got the light grey color. It came compactly packed in a box roughly 2x1.5x1ft. There was an instruction booklet, a bag full of screws along with a tool, and the tower pieces were labeled. It was very easy to put together. I was done in less than an hour. PROS: The tower is really nice looking. The carpet is soft and seems to be firmly attached to the particleboard/wood it covers. There are a variety of levels and types of perches, good for a cat that likes to climb and move around. The "rooms" are a really good size, plenty of room for my cat, who is over 9 lbs. The larger "room" could hold two medium size cats curled up together. Both of these spaces are very sturdy. The top and bottom are solid, the sides are just the carpet fabric, but there are posts in the four corners that are screwed into place as you build the tower. This makes these rooms very sturdy with no possible way to collapse. I was impressed as I built them up. The two cushioned seats are very soft and decently padded. They are pretty square and look like they have good enough surface area for a cat to curl up on. My cat hasn't tried them yet. CONS: The tower does smell a bit. I think it is the carpet smell, maybe. The instructions recommended leaving the completed tower in a well ventilated area for a few days to let the smell go away. I sprayed mine with febreze and it cut the smell by half. The tower is slightly wobbly. Not to the point where the cat moving will make it wobble, but if the cat forcefully jumped off a higher area it might waver. I think this instability could have been reduced if the base was a little bigger. If the base extended out farther and was the same width/length as the biggest part of the upper levels it would be more sturdy. I am putting my tower in a corner to take advantage of wall support. I am overall very pleased with this tower. I think my cat is going to really enjoy climbing and lounging on it.

My cat loved this cat tree. This was supposed to be a Christmas present, but she knew about it earlier than that. I wasn't even finished building it yet and she started using the scratching posts right away. This does come in a very large and heavy-ish box. I was able to carry it just fine and I'm a very small person so if that helps at all. The building process was very easy, only thing was it was hard to match some of the screws up with the holes on each side of the poles for the houses. Other than that it was a breeze putting this together, and it comes with all the tools you need (except I don't think it came with a screwdriver but that's only if you want to screw it into the wall). I think it took me maybe an hour to build it and some of it (15/20 minutes) was debating how I wanted one of the houses to face. The carpet is soft, and the scratching posts are great and don't look like they will come un-done at all. The ball's won't come off unless you have an extremely aggressive cat. It also comes with an extra ball. The rope screws into the board above, so that should have no problem staying stable either. The hammock is sturdy, and soft. My cat loves this and was super excited for this new cat tree. It is pretty tall also. I would say great product for a great price. PSA: both houses are supposed to be facing the same way, but since my cat loves to hide I moved one to face the wall that it is pointing towards. So in the picture, it is the house not pointing towards the camera.

I spent months researching the best cat tree for my little 5-month kitten (she's 7 months as of this review) as I had very specific needs to meet. My bedroom is VERY small, and I needed to be able to fit a litter box beside the tree, all of which needed to fit beside my bed. Additionally, I wanted this tree to really have a lot to make the small amount of space feel big for my cat to enjoy. And of course, this all needed to be in my limited budget! I'm very pleased to report that this tree more than does its duty! It gives you a lot for a small area but still manages to space things out without precariously stacking things too close or too far apart. On top of that, it is very aesthetically pleasing and fits in with my preexisting furniture and style perfectly. It's sturdy and hasn't come apart, though I recommend putting it against a wall so no top-heaviness risks knocking it over. Very easy for my amateur self to assemble and will be for you too if you are organized with the pieces and patient with yourself! My cat loves it and when I put a bed in the top cubby it became her favorite hideaway! She doesn't really use the hammock but I think that's because she already has her favorite hammock by my desk. The platform of the top cubby lines up perfectly with my windowsill, and with the different levels, she's never out of variety for either play or sleep. Again, I spent a very long time going through Amazon, Chewy, Wayfair, Petsmart, Petco, and all other pet product providers to find the right thing. If you have similar needs to mine or just want the best cat tree for the best value, I cannot recommend this product enough!

This kitty condo is very sturdy and was easy to put together (It comes with an allen key which is the only tool you need. It took me about 40 minutes including unpacking and laying everything out to full assembly), but.. we have 3 adult cats and I highly recommend securing the strap to a wall for stability. My only complaint is that the base could be a little larger to make this more stable. Everything else is very good. There was definitely a smell to the fabric on this and my cats all spent a lot of time sniffing it at first. You can see that one of my cats is pretty large, but he fits in the caves just fine. They are all still warming up to this as they have never had one of these, but I think they will love it once they get used to it. We actually moved it next to my son's loft bed because our black cat can't jump very well (insert movie reference jokes here, if you're old enough to remember a certain Woody Harrelson/Wesley snipes movie from the early 90s which apparently has a remake in the works...)... but she loves to get up on the bed with my son, so this gives her a nice "ladder" to get up there and it's also near his window so they can look outside too. I am happy with this purchase. Oh... and this came with a few extra parts. One being an extra ball on a string. Don't leave that laying around while you assemble this or it may disappear ;) One of my cats took a shine to it and ran off with it :) I was able to find it though so it's all good, just be careful out there!

I purchased this cat tree to replace the old one we have that is starting to show some wear. I like the size (it's large) and the color matches my gray decor. It has all the things I thought the cats would like; scratching post, ball on a string, sleeping sling and cubes. My cats however have only used it a couple of times and prefer their old one. The sleeping perches seem to be better padded than their curent one so I'm not sure why they are choosing the old uncomfortable one. It was fairly easy to assemble and we had no trouble following the instructions. It appears well made and durable. The cats do run across the top of it and it has not yet fallen over so it's very stable. My cats may get more use out of it once their old one is no longer an option. I would recommend the product based on the quality for the price, ease of assembling, look and stability.

It is difficult to find a tall tree large enough for a big cat. I have purchased many trees from different vendors and retailers. There are about 10 trees in my house at this time. This is the best one I've purchased. It fits snug in the corner. The perches don't make it set out a few inches. The guy sitting on the top perch is around 15 pounds. He is an older guy. I wasn't sure if he would give up his other tree as it is easier to navigate to the top, but he took to this one right away without any difficulty at all. The cut out from the bottom cubby to the top cubby made it easy to get up to the perches. I highly recommend this tree to anyone with large cats. The cubbys are big. The perches are large enough. It's easy to navigate up and down without having to jump from the top to the ground and it fits snug in the corner for stability. All 4 of the cats were on it and in it.

Overall this turned out great! First, the box arrived at porch and I was discouraged at how heavy the box was-thinking this is going to be a pain putting together. Waited a couple days, contemplating, dreading it…when do I want to put this big thing together?! Turned on tv and started in. The sisal poles usually hurts my hands. Put gloves on as I unboxed it and put together. To my surprise , pieces were not overwhelming. EASY to read and follow instructions. All screws were in a bag. Few extras were given too of each type. Just be sure to separate all the screws for there’s two sizes of lengths on “matching” screws. Took about an hour and half- I took my time. Turned out fantastic! Fur babes love it and fell asleep on it after I finished. Very sturdy. I chose this one for it has edges on each level that the cat can land on, or get some stability moving up or down. I do like the stability (I bought one that was just too skinny and platforms off the sides of it. Don’t waste ur money on those. Collapsed in areas for a 8 lb cat. Trashed it) This has two sides I call it for great balance and two cats now. This is a really good product! Huge thank you!

This is such a well made cat tree and perfect for anyone with a Spooky/Gothic/Alternative decorating style! We got it for our kitten Ghost when he was about 5 months old, and he has used it everyday since (a few days shy of 1y/o now). It's a great value for the cost and very easy to clean. It's also very sturdy, he loves to run and jump on/off the platforms with full force and it barely moves when he does so. The colors and platforms are exactly as pictured and it was really easy for my Husband to put together. The one issue is that one of the hanging puff balls came off- but that was due to Ghost deciding he needed to attack it full force and not let go. It's an awesome option for a cat tree and really tall as well, so multiple cats can enjoy it at once if needed!
