So far I love it, it's got some weight to the controller, I don't know if thats good or not yet.. the back buttons are a little loose so they rattle alot, but that may just be a personal issue. I appreciate the texture grip for the palms and fingers, and the joystick options are nice for different games el especially after my injury to my right thumb. Set up was simple. I think the price is steep to alot of players myself included. But I wanted to see for myself, the quality.

If using on PC for steam it will be usually be recognized as an unknown controller as opposed to a PlayStation controller. This may affect on screen input prompts and the like. Everything else seems OK. The triggers have a very short travel range. For folks playing a competitive shooter this likely is your controller, For a casual gamer a lower priced option is likely the better choice. Bought this mostly to have higher quality hall thumb-sticks in a play-station format on PC without having to hack open a controller and install it myself. On PC, it will need to call home for a firmware update from play-station via windows and some right click controller setup on steam. It most likely good to go for ps5 console users.

Hexgaming controllers are the best controllers! I have purchased the Ultimate, Ultimate Pro, Phantom and Rival Pro. Each have their pros and cons. I prefer the Ultimate the best 👌 Ultimate Pro is good because of being able to convert the clicky triggers to play racing games but the Ultimate Pro L1 and R1 buttons are not clicky like the Ultimate original. The Rival Pro back buttons placement are great but are highly sensitive which is good but not good if you grip your controller. Phantom is Awesome but if you grip your controller the buttons placements will not work out for you. Ultimate to me is just the winner all the way around. I am able to grip this controller without pressing the buttons not to mention R1,R2,L1,L2 buttons are all clicky. Halleffect joysticks all the way. Thank you to Hexgaming!
