Good material, works well, smells good?, BUT it is small

I love that it's real rubber and for some reason it smells good (which makes me wonder if they soaked it in chemical perfumes or whatever, but who knows). Works well, but it is definitely small. I have a standard size tub-shower and would prefer that it be a few inches bigger on both width and length. Especially since my husband has bad knees, so he has to be careful. But it works...just limits the amount of space you can step onto if you're like my husband.

Hevea Bath Mat

I don’t know how long I spent researching and looking for a non toxic bath mat for my kiddos. I don’t even remember how I stumbled upon this Hevea bath mat. All I knew was that I didn’t want any hormone disrupters or any other crazy toxic yuckies in my kiddos bath time. I admit that this mat is small so I bought two and the two fit perfectly in my tub, side by side. It does have a natural rubber smell...think sophie the giraffe but slightly stronger and sweeter smelling. Normally, I can’t stand the smell of chemicals (bleach, vinyl shower curtains, even some perfumes/colognes, detergents, etc) but I actually like the smell of this mat. initially I was worried about the potential latex sensitivity/allergy since this is a natural rubber mat, but my kiddos seem fine *phew*. And the color...the brownish-reddish color, if i was one for aesthetics, i’d be in misery. but i’m not and this mat is functioning exactly the way i wanted. I did notice that Hevea also has a charcoal gray color, so two color options exist. So far, i’m loving this mat. It does what it’s supposed to do and the suction is strong, so I know this mat isn’t sliding anywhere while my babies are walking around in the tub. :)

It’s too small…

I chose this bath mat for baby’s bath time because it was the only natural rubber version available and using nontoxic products for my baby is important to me. However, it is absurdly small. Why not make the mat big enough to fit a regular bathtub?

Great mat, aa bit small

Love this mat. We use it every bath time for my son who no longer wanted to sit in his infant bath seat. I do wish that the mat was a bit larger, but I liked the materials of this mat over others so I went with it.
