After scouring local shops and the Internet for months, I took the plunge and purchased this bag. I wish to say a huge "thank you" to my fellow reviewers because it was their experiences that made me take the leap and buy this baby. I am overjoyed that I did! I purchased this bag more than a month ago and waited to write my review. Initially, there was a strong chemical-like odor. I store my purse in our coat closet and the entire closet smelled. I see that others placed the purse outside in the sun to let nature reduce the scent. I was too busy and needed to use the purse right away. Within three to four days, without any effort from me, the smell went away. The stiffness of the purse is a little off-putting initially. I thought it looked like a cheap pleather knock-off: a little too shiny, a little too hard. After a bit of use, the leather softened and as a result looks much more high-end. (How rare to have a products that actually looks better over time!) I'm going to do some critical assessing here: I am not a fan of the heavy duty zipper. It's a bit clunky and doesn't glide super easily. Due to it's longer length, it can flip inside out if you are not paying attention. Was this an intentional design due to the purse's size and to prevent easy breakage? Perhaps. I'm also not super pleased with the brushed bronze color of the hardware. This is purely subjective, and possibly a more neutral choice than silver, brass, or gold metal. The bag is large, so do pay attention to the measurements provided. The adjustable strap is perfect for customizing the purse to your precise height. The colors are bright and varied. I have used this bag for more than a month and regularly recieve compliments on it. The diversity of the ladies that appreciate it is astonishing: from young, edgy, urban gals to more conservative, upper class older Mamas! The broad spectrum of women who like the bag is a testament to its versatility, yet at the very same time, this bag makes a unique statement. Truly a great bag!

I wanted a leather pocketbook that would be good for every-day use, but large enough in case of travel. This fits the bill perfectly. Love the quality of the lining and the color (dark burgundy), just the right amount (ie. not too many) of zippered and unzippered pockets, and the two straps fit over my shoulder since that's the way I carry my pocketbook. I also like the four stud protectors at the corners of the bottom. It has a designer look and feel and I appreciate that there are no maker logos displayed on the bag. Not sure however if it is genuine leather. The description says leather, but no where on/in the pocketbook does the word leather appear except for a small "keychain" that has a piece of the material as the key fob.

I do love this bag. It's slightly larger than what I normally get but that's OK. Mine came with a red tab although I was hoping for a yellow one like what was pictured at the time I bought it. For my preference, it has a good amount of pockets to hold those things I like to keep separate. Like another reviewer, I removed the handles only because I know I never carry a bag this way. Even though, I think it looks great with the shorter straps; I like a crossbody type mainly because I like my hands and arms to be free. NOTE OF CAUTION: apparently, I didn't inspect the bag close enough before removing said handles and noticed after that the stitching was missing from a few squares and there are a couple of very small areas with loose stitching. However, it's hardly noticeable unless looking for it. Also should mention it that the leather is attached to fabric therefore the missing stitching does not cause the bag to fall apart. I think some glue will keep the leather from rising and separating.

Whatut a fun bag. I Just got it today and I have to admit I was quite surprised at the look and quality. I read the reviews and was hesitant about the smell but lucky me, there is NO ODOR thus far. I have it hanging in the hall way and was thinking about sitting it outside, but so far there's no need. The colors are vibrant but not overthetop. Love the size and the pockets but they are flimsy, the phone pocket could be larger but I don't use that anyway. This bag is throw on your jeans and top and grocery shop, do lunch, meet the girls for a drink. It screams "take me and show me off"

This is Mrs. Richard Freeman, who ordered the bag. The handbag was a great size, loved the colors and the quality of the leather for a great price. However, having the handles attached inside made it cumbersome and the zippered opening too low and in the way. The opening would work better with a single snap or magnet type closure. On the particular bag I received, the handles were not evenly aligned, which might have been on purpose due to the added bulk of being attached inside. Handbags need to be convenient. Hope the vendor will fix this problem and offer this size bag against in these colors and also in fall colors. Looked at all there other bags and this style and pattern was the best. There larger tote was my second choice, but colors were to tallish for now And they could ditch the flower. Also, I would make sure handles were not a light color as they would get dirty.
