Backpack feels premium. Open-mouth top holds a surprising amount, secured with a clever drawstring mechanism and magnetic top flap. I appreciate the magnetic closures, though they don’t always “find” the closure right away - it seems this depends on how stuffed the backpack is, but it is not difficult to manually snap them on. The main compartment is quite large, however there are no internal pockets besides a laptop sleeve. The laptop sleeve itself is very soft with generous padding. There is a small pocket on the front of the bag with the same magnetic closures, this one secured underneath with a zipper. The top flap itself is actually “hollow” and is itself another compartment accessed by a zipper on top of the bag. I was expecting another small pocket, but in fact it is quite spacious which was a nice surprise. There is another zip compartment on the back of the bag for flat items like a notebook/laptop/iPad. This may affect comfort when wearing the bag pressed up against your back but I cannot comment as I haven’t tried it yet. Took on a flight recently and fit under the seat no problem, fully packed. Weatherproofing would have been nice, but knew going in this was not a feature. Overall excellent backpack worthy of its price. Highly recommend

Worth the money

I love this backpack! it fits everything, and I pack everything! It looks amazing, and I am picky too!. It is also very sturdy, and cleans up well. I just use a damp cloth to wipe it down, resists stains and water. I have had it for months now and had no problems and I put it through alot, use it everyday. I even added clips to tie on my jacket and lunch box for days that I am out for 14 plus hours. Has not shown a bit of wear and has protected my laptop! Def worth the buy!

Bought this bag a gift to myself after switching careers. I had the small version of this in light grey and brown for about 10 years. Really love this company and these bags. Quality is truly one of a kind and value for money is amazing. Had my last bag for 10 years and all it needs is a good cleaning and it would still perfectly fine. The black on black is just better for me. And the size is great about to put two laptops and an IPad in it and still have room. Cup pockets come in handy last bag didn’t have that so super happy to have them. Will forever be my go to work bag.

A total upgrade from the previous version of “little America”

I’ve owned the previous version of the little American model for a couple of years, and I can say that this version is absolutely an upgrade. It has two external water bottle pockets that are expandable, my 32oz hydro flask fits in easily, it also has a top pocket on the flap itself which is awesome and adds more organization. The style is stunning and the color is lit 🔥 (I’ve ordered a chocolate brown color and I love it so much). The quality is high without a doubt, and it’s very durable. For a 21l backpack I think it’s the soft spot. The ONLY downside: that it lacks more internal organization. If there were at least 2 more internal pockets, it would have been a 5 star from me 😍 Also the straps are cushioned and comfy! Love it!
