  • Calidad probada en cientos de escenarios
Lo compre como mi segundo stand Hércules. El primero lo tengo hace 12 años y está perfecto. Eso habla de la calidad de este equipo.

  • Sturdy stand to have your saxophone handy
The stand is easy to unfold, each leg is secured by a locking pin, so it is not moving out of the position. The part where you put the bell of your (Alto) saxophone was a little bit to wide, but I adjusted it easily by bending the to arms toward each other, so the bell still fits, but is not moving or falling through. If I get another (Tenor) saxophone I can easily redo to bend. But I would rather by another stand of the same brand. The three legs secure that the holder can't fall so easily to the side and has a very good balance. If you bang against the saxophone it rocks back to the upright position. Of course if yo do it to hard enough it will fall over like everything by overdoing it. I ordered the version with clarinet peg. There are two hole prepared to screw it to the stand. One has a cap, the other doesn't. Since I don't use the peg (yet) it would be nice to have a second cap. But this is more an optical issue and doesn't interfere with the function. The included bag for the stand is very simple and not usable to have saxophone bag and stand together on your bag. I am still locking for a better solution. Up to now I lived with the saxophone out of the bag, now I have it right on the side to play. I am very sacrificed with the stand and can recommend it. ... show more

  • Pit Musician
The stand came in quick and is very sturdy. It’s my second one and I love it just as much as the first! It helps when playing musicals.

  • A real sturdy stand.
When I was given a student alto from a friend, I wound up getting my own accessories for it. New mouthpiece, reeds, cleaning kit…even a stand. I already a Hercules stand for my basses…so why not?

  • I'm comparing this stand with a Hamilton KB560 sax stand ...
I'm comparing this stand with a Hamilton KB560 sax stand. I started with a Hercules and made custom wooden pegs for my clarinet and soprano sax. But the whole affair was bulky and heavy. The Hamilton was just skinny enough to fit in the pocket of my tenor case. There is a locking screw underneath the Hamilton that you have to tighten once you unfold the stand. Once I didn't tighten it enough and the stand sagged down, causing some damage to the sax. Then a weld broke. The stand still worked but it no longer automatically opened to exactly the right angle. Turns out there was no room for error. I set the stand up slightly too upright and one tap did $200 dollars of the damage to the tenor. The Hercules has a bigger base and you know when it is locked. The only caution is that when I lift my tenor, sometimes the rest that is half way up the arm flips up and isn't in place when you set the sax back. Than is a rare annoyance but not more. I also have had to wrap the foam on the arms with electrical tape to keep everything in place. But it is doing its job. ... show more

  • Great for Alto Sax and Clarinet, Awesome Customer Service
An excellent stand that works well. I especially like the folding mechanism- the parts feel adequately heavy and high quality, as do the rubber and foam parts. I feel confident each time I put my instrument down on it! Fits well in the included folding bag, although I use it mainly at home. The only concern I have is that the bell of my alto sax has room to move or roll around the upper holder. No major deal, I suppose it's meant to be used universally with Tenor sax so that's understandable. This item originally was shipped to me without the clarinet peg, but Chris from Customer Service quickly dispatched a replacement, I really appreciate the prompt response. Great product that's well worth the money! ... show more

  • Good sturdy stand
The media could not be loaded. I bought one of these for my Tenor, and as an experiment, later bought a knockoff brand "Lolunut" for my Alto. Out of the box, the Hercules is the clear winner, but it's also more than double the price of the Lolunut, which I actually had to finish assembling, as the nuts were not tightened enough and that stand was quite wobbly. If you're handy and don't mind a lighter, flimsier stand, get the Lolunut, otherwise, get the stronger, heavier, more stable Hercules. The video shows the story... ... show more

  • Solid and Safe
Quality stand for my tenor sax and clarinet. Worried it might not accommodate a tenor securely, but it does! And it’s solid. Glad I spent a few extra dollars to get the best.
