Only issue, like others, is that not all the holes are aligned perfectly and one of the seat screws had to be cranked pretty hard to get it flush like the others. First, I want to point out that I think that this is an expensive item. It is relatively sturdy and comfortable, but also is a little less sturdy than I thought it would be. In some ways, it feels a bit cheap. Still: I have had this for a few days and am pleasantly surprised by how good it is. It has a good height and was incredibly easy to assemble. I originally intended to use this HERA's PALACE kitchen as a bar stool, but it is too tall (24in tall), even though I am also very tall (5ft 10"). I repurposed it as a laptop table and it works great, not taking too much space in the room as a regular table. The padding is very soft, and the legs are durable and made of steel. It is very stable and quite heavy, mostly due to the steel legs. It was easily installed using the assembly instructions, everything needed for the installation was included. One minor issue is that if used as a barstool, the bar where the feet are supposed to rest is also made of steel and therefore not very comfortable if not wearing shoes. I would recommend this bar stool to a friend, but I suggest checking the dimensions first, especially the height, to make sure it fits the intended purpose. ... show more

Its a nice stool,but the screws are hard to put in! The screws that go to the stool seat were harder to get in because the holes in the seat were in the wrong position! Some of the screws went only halfway in to the seat!! The seat is comfortable though!! A ratchet screwdriver would be a little easier to use!! ... show more

This product came in 7 pieces with all of the screws needed plus an allen wretch. It is really easy to put together, just follow the instructions and within 5 minutes you will have the base constructed. Make sure to have all of the screws in loosely before tightening them down, in case you get a misalignment. The seat cushion is the last to go on and it just needs a few screws to lock it in place. I got the grey version, which means the base is a matte black metal and the cushion is a charcoal grey. Very classy looking. There is even a bar on the base so you can put your feet on it. I am a plus sized woman and it holds my weight well! My cats love this too. I need to get another one. ... show more

18 fasteners, 7 parts, 4 steps, and about 20 minutes is all you'll need to go from box to sitting on this comfortable, secure, stylish stool. I will say that aligning and tightening the screws was challenging, but I was able to get them all in and fully tightened. I needed a second stool for my chess table and the one that I had was not very comfortable for sitting over long periods of time. This stool is well padded, a great height for my needs, and has a convenient footrest bar. I am definitely selling my old set and replacing them with more of these. I highly recommend. ... show more

I wanted a barstool in my kitchen. I’m a bit older and sometimes while I’m waiting on something to finish cooking it’s nice to sit down. This is a great height. The seat part is so comfortable, great padding. Easy to wipe off messes. Wasn’t hard to put together. Great purchase
