Quick set up. Just remove it from the box, remove the filter in order to retrieve the power cord and replace the filter. Filter twists in and out without tools. Plug it in and turn it on. it has adjustments that are optional, and it works well without any attention at all. It detects air quality on its own and adjusts the fan speed, as needed. On the low fan setting it is nearly in audible. On the highest fan setting, some sound is heard, but it is not loud enough to cause any problems. Within 24 hours of running it, my allergy symptoms have decreased significantly. I’m uncertain how long the filter will last but replacements are reasonably priced. Upon registering for the warranty, the company offers a free replacement filter. I have not tried the specialty filters, but may do so in the future if it seems needed. I have used many other HEPA filters in the past. This one seems comparable in quality for a much lower price. The company’s customer service is excellent with quick replies.

This is a fantastic air purifier for the money. One of the things I love is the size. It’s a very compact design for a purifier that can support such a large space. It has definitely helped our whole downstairs area. It’s quiet, doesn’t take up much room, looks nice, and has an automatic setting so you can set it and forget it. I recently bought this Dayette air purifier, and I'm really impressed with it! It's stylish and looks great in my home, but it's also small enough to fit anywhere. The controls are easy to use on the device itself, but it also works with Wi-Fi and Alexa so I can control it from my phone or with voice commands. It's incredibly quiet, even on low settings, so I can use it in my bedroom without any bother. Most importantly, this air purifier does a fantastic job of cleaning the air. I've noticed a big difference in the air quality in my home - there's much less dust and fewer allergens. The controls are simple to use, and I can easily see the air quality levels and adjust settings. It's also energy-efficient, so I don't have to worry too much about it affecting my electricity bill. The item is great as an air purifier. I’m knocking one star because it’s advertised as Google-compatible, which is true, but only to an extent. You can use google to turn the purifier on and off, and also to turn the child lock on or off. That’s it. There are other functions you can do with the purifier itself, that you cannot do through your google home. You can’t tell google to change the fan speed. This would be the most vital thing to have google automate if you want it running all the time, but would want it to be running different speeds throughout the day (the different speeds have different sound levels). Also just adding it to any automation would be nice to have this. You can only automate it as long as you keep it one speed and have it go on or off. So I’d love if when I have google run my “goodnight” automation which turns all my lights off and sets my nighttime thermostat temp, it would also be able to set the purifier to sleep mode also. Or say it’s on medium speed and you’re watching a movie and the purifier is a touch too loud, it’d be nice to just tell google, “set the purifier to low”. It just can’t. Google tells you that it can’t control the purifier (except as outlined above). Yes there’s an app you can control it with, but when something advertises as google-compatible, these are the simple functions you’d expect to function. All this being said, the air purifier itself is a beast. Already my daughter is having less allergy symptoms (pollen) after having it one week. It just leaves me wanting more in the realm of smart home integration.

This air purifier is so quiet that you'll forget it's running. I like that there is a timer so I can run it as needed instead of all the time. The setup was extremely easy and only took 30 seconds. With a little one running around, I'm happy it has a child lock setting. After using for only a weekend I can already tell a difference with it removing odors. I have dogs and it has helped. The replacement filters are reasonably priced, and I'm hoping they last for awhile. I would absolutely recommend this air purifier to anyone looking for a high-quality air purifier. It's effective, convenient, and quiet.
