Took off a star for the lack of a remote and the fact that you won’t really feel the warmth unless your standing, not sitting, in front of it. It will warm the room over time though. It just takes away from that fireplace feeling when you can’t enjoy the warmth the moment you cut it on. The unit itself is absolutely beautiful. Perfect height and well made. Love this!!!!! The perfect addition to my living room! Putting it together was a little tough and it took about an hour with a guy who actually knows what he was doing. If it was me alone it may have taken a lot longer 😂

The screws and holes don't fit together. You have to force screw them into the wood to create the correct sized hole. It's tiring and makes the time to build it much longer. Wouldn't have bought it had I known.

This is gorgeous! I was worried it may look cheap because it was so reasonably priced, but it doesn't at all. Assembly was easy. I was able to put it together alone in about an hour. Would recommend!!
