What I like most is that the clear front lets pets see everything around them, which is great! It's done wonders to keep my new puppy calm. The only possible downside is the size. The media could not be loaded. This is great for short trips. My cat was able to sit up and lay down comfortably. She likes using it at home before we leave but hates traveling in all carriers. I wouldn’t use it in a prolonged hot environment. Great quality and value. It’s easy to assembly, fold and open. The straps are comfortable and adjustable. Pretty light in weight too.

My daughter loves carrying her kitten in this backpack. The kitten looks comfortable in the backpack and never minds being inside. There is so much room for the kitten to grow into it. We receive so many compliments. Simply comfortable, cute and affordable.

My cat is 7 pounds, so she fits perfectly comfortably in this carrier. I wanted a backpack so she felt safer and more comfortable and closer to me and it worked. She meows a bit at first when I put her in it, but after a few minutes she settles right in and gets comfortable.

It is a really solid and sturdy backpack! The thick acrylic plastic does get scratched up though, so if aesthetics are important to you, then spend the extra energy to make sure that it doesn’t get scratched up or scuffed. I bought this backpack in 2020 and only used it a handful of times with my first cat. Right when I was conditioning her to become an “adventure cat“ I had to put her down unexpectedly. I just adopted a new kitten and am finally getting some use out of this backpack again. Poppy Seed, my orange baby, never had a problem with this and would regularly sleep in this when given the chance. My current baby, Carrot Cake, is still getting used to it, but after a few minutes of protest from her, she eventually settles in and will even go to sleep. The backpack, while not exactly small, isn’t very large either. And it is definitely not for fat cats that are overweight/obese or for cat breeds that are larger. Poppy was 8 pounds, and my current kitten is 4.5 pounds. I would not put a cat over 10 pounds in this carrier as it can get rather cramped in there for long excursions. While it was a really good backpack to have, I will be ordering a different one from another seller that is expandable. This different one has more mesh to allow for better circulation (something that I get worried about being in the hot and humid south). And it also has an option to expand the back to where it has a little tent. That way Carrot Cake can comfortably and safely stay inside the carrier during picnics or on breaks during our hikes, but still a little bit more space to stretch her legs and move around. If this backpack had an option to be expandable, by even just a little bit, I probably wouldn’t have bothered looking for a new one. But since I plan to take her on hikes, walks, Kayaking, and wherever I can, I want to make sure there will be enough space for a small battery powered fan if I needed one (esp with Summer coming up). And this backpack just does not have enough space for that and for my cat.

My daughter wanted this to take her cat with us on quick trips to the store. He does okay in the bag but seems uncomfortable. People smile and love when they see a cat. Who knew! It eas easy to clean and adjustable like a normal backpack. And the color is great! No assembly other than inserting the pad on the inside. Once he is in the bag he takes a minute or two to settle but he likes being able to see things. Does not fold as the bubble part is not flexible. Definatly good quality.

The concept of this backpack cat carrier is awesome and I was really excited to have this for my cats for walks in the woods behind my home. Please read ALL the dimensions before buying because the bag is much smaller than anticipated. In the first picture it shows a big fluffy cat sitting inside with a lot of room to spare. My cats are both under 10lbs and it’s a tight squeeze inside. There’s another picture with 2 cats inside that look like full grown cats…… no way are 2 cats fitting inside this thing. I’m truly over being duped by advertising. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me on Amazon. The bag itself is made nicely and seems durable for extremely small cats or kittens.
