Biught this for my son as a gift. The first one we got had a screw that held part of the top of the rc car on that was broken and we didnt want to chance it coming off. We were able to get a replacement right away non-issues at all. The replacement was in perfect condition. My 8 year old son absolutely loves this RC car and how fast it goes and how its able to jump curbs. Has held up extremely well so far. Love the fact it comes with 2 batteries for longer play time. Only thing I would like better is to not have to take a screw out every time to change the battery. Would definitely recommend! ... show more

I bought this car for my 5 year old to replace another that just wasn't cutting the mustard anymore. I didn't expect anything awesome for $30, but I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. This little car tackles dirt and rubber playground chips like a champ. It's even fast enough to perform some pretty decent jumps, and he routinely drives it off high things like park benches and such without it taking damage. The only thing it doesn't do that great on is grass due to the car being too small to blaze through the blades, but given how well it performs everywhere else I can't fault it for that. This little RC car is so fun! My son and I took this thing out and put it through heck ramping it all over the street and yard. It probably crashed 50 times but didn't break or effect it in anyway. It's a decent size car and has good looking lights on it. I'm not sure the distance this car can go but we took it 5 houses down the street and it worked great still! We actually had to turn it around because it was hard to see not because of it's operation. Overall at this price we couldn't be happier with this RC car! This is a great little RC truck to get kids started into the RC world. Model wise it looks like others you get for greater cost. It has quick speed and good traction. We have not tried in grass, but only indoor on carpet - runs great. Battery life is decent for price-point. We bought this for our 7 year old grandson for his birthday and he LOVED it! It has really bright LED headlights and the side panels glow a neat green color. The vehicle itself came with 2 rechargeable batteries; so you can insert a charged backup battery when the first battery dies (giving you extended run time). My middle boy wanted a truck like his older brothers (his was aged 14+) but has a hard time controlling rc cars still. So I bought this for his birthday and it's actually really nice! Pretty fast, he loved the lights aspect, and had played with it every day! My only complaint is the body is really flimsy, and I know it will get broken easily. But that's ok..it drives through the grass and drives on our dirt driveway very easy! He approves! ... show more
