I've only used it once so I may change my opinion but for the one time that I have used it, it worked as expected. If I had a complaint, it would be that the cot has to be assembled inside my tent due to the fact that it just won't fit once it is (I am currently using an REI half dome 2+ (2022 model)). Also, I am 6'4" and 240 lbs. The cot was plenty big and stable when flipping from side to side or moving around throughout the night. On relatively soft ground the feet did seem to stretch the floor fabric of the tent and over time may be a problem but too early to tell. ... show more

Well designed cot that is extremely easy to assemble. (First try takes a bit longer.). Light weight, sturdy, and comfortable. I would recommend the extended legs to go along with it.

Love the cot. BUT what a disappointment to received used product with dog hair attached to the Velcro underneath! What's next? Bed bugs? Fleas? Gross and considering returning it, because I got sold an used couple $$$ helionix cot.

Great cot. It's side by side with a Marchway brand cot I picked up for cheaper. The Marchway brand cot is a decent little cot for the price, don't get me wrong. But it's decent if you only use it one weekend every few months. However, if you're going sleep more than two consecutive nights on a cot at a time, or use one every few weeks, then this Helinox is the way to go hands down. It's longer than the other brands and slightly wider. Which makes if absolutely perfect for a LiteFighter One Man Tent (also a 5 star product without question). Putting the support bars on the side length bars is so easy with the snap and lock hinges on one side. And even though it's 4 support bars across side-to-side, it's evenly supports better than 5 and 6 bar cots. The length long bars are really light but surprisingly strong and solid. Also, they're double the diameter of the Marchway and Tigris. The smaller diameter bars on the more affordable brands bend at the head/foot areas toward the ground, and also don't hold the canvas material as tight, which causes a dip for your head. That is not a problem with Helinox. The thicker bars mean it doesn't bow inward making your head feel lower than your body. And also, the support bars closest to the ends of the cot at closer than that of the other brands which helps with sagging. Next addition is certainly going to be the legs to elevate this higher off the ground for sitting on my cot now that I own one that will not bow or bend if I sit on it! Very happy with this Helinox Cot Max Convertable. Also the bag for it is superbly durable and ready to be shoved in my ruck or outdoor use. ... show more
