My initial review was that it's junk, I think I was wrong. It is cheap and plastic but functions pretty good as a toy for kids. It's not easy to control sometimes and it hovers away, but it's nearly indestructible because it weights very little. I ordered my 5 year old DJI Mini SE (he used my DJI 3 Pro before), he had to decide which one to keep. I actually found this to be easier that some other drones because it’s not a perfect square. I liked that it was a well defined front and back. Much easier to play with for a beginner.

Overall fun and easy to learn to fly. However, it is immposible to fly outside with a light breeze. It seems it can't pitch forward or back enough to overcome the breeze. The video to the mobile app isn't true FPV. It is WiFi, and the viewing angle seems too narrow. There isn't a way grow as one progresses in FPV drone flying. It would be nice to be able to connect a Fat Shark analog or DJI digital googles to the camera. Additionally, to have the option to connect to a standard FrSky, DJI, etc. radio transmitter controller. Brushless motors and using 4S or 6S battery packs are desired. ... show more

This is not my son's first drone so learning to fly was not an issue. With the two included batteries he can fly for 45 min or more depending on the type of flying he does. He said flying outside is fun but if there is any wind it's not a great experience. He much prefers flying indoors through our house or in a large room like a gym. The app was a bit of a pain to get linked and working. We ended up contacting the seller and had a wonderful experience with their customer service. 5 Stars for the customer service. After connecting with them we learned that we needed to pair the bluetooth before launching the app. It seems like it would be better to launch the app then have the app open a dialogue box to connect the bluetooth, but now that we know it is not a big deal. Overall, this is a fun little drone to play with. This is a toy and that should be kept in mind. If you are looking to actually take photos or video with this for a project you may want to think again. If you are looking for a fun toy that also has video and photos, this may meet your needs. ... show more
