Articulation of this arm allows us to place the screen anywhere, at any angle in the RV. That's especially important to us to eliminate reflections and ease tension. Materials are perfect. So is the finish. It's part of our home on the road now.

I'm using this with a 24in monitor. It works well if you keep the monitor close to the post to which it is mounted. When the monitor is further away from the post, the plastic mount bends which causes undesirable alignment issues, such as the monitor slowly floating away from the desired position. If I knew this ahead of time I would have bought one with all metal construction. Otherwise this arm is a good value for very light duty.

This is a solid option for mounting a VESA monitor onto a pole or a light stand. Once you really clamp the main mount to the pole or light stand your using its very stable and holds the monitor in a good place a gasket style arm for quick readjustment. The arm can extend out to a decent distance if you have a need to move the monitor. This held up a 24 inch monitor for me really well so I can put a screen up connecting to my device while setup on a light stand.

I found it extremely hard to set up. Maybe it can be easier for a two-person team, but if you are doing it alone mounting the monitor is very laborious. Also the plastic base does bend quite a bit. Lastly, it took me a while to tighten the monitor angle screws. I guess the secret is that you need to do both sides. Note that I use it essentially for a fixed position, so I have no opinion on how flexible it is.
