This muzzle is simple, sturdy, and effective. The material feels durable and well-constructed. My dog was still able to eat, drink, and move his mouth slightly, but it served its intended purpose well. Although I ordered a size too large, I was able to secure it by wrapping and fastening the Velcro for a proper fit. However, if your dog is resistant to wearing muzzles or tends to bite, expect some difficulty putting it on. It took two people and several attempts to adjust it correctly, which is why I deducted one star. This product should not be worn for extended periods, and no muzzle should be used in hot weather, as it can restrict panting and lead to heat exhaustion. Overall, it’s a well-made muzzle that performs as expected when used safely and appropriately.

I like the print and the Velcro option to better fit the muzzle. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stay on if you have a dog who constantly claws at it which makes it come off. We purchased to deter from trying to eat things outside and muffle barking at neighbors. Since used occasionally, it somewhat serves its purpose.

Works great on our Maltese Family. They range from 12-6 pounds. I fold over the velco flap with the material to get the muzzle part tight. Like that you can adjust the muzzle area and around the head/neck to keep it in place. Maltese are small and fighters to try anything to remove the muzzle to bite and flee to get away from grooming (shaving and nail trimming).

Great for my dog who gets a bit anxious and defensive around new people. She has learned how to remove it if she sneaks out of sight and it doesn't stop barking what so ever, but it is comfortable and fits well because of the adjustable Velcro and band. It is also great because she can still have water and eat her favorite yogurt as a treat while she is wearing it. Good quality, but your dog will still bark like normal.

I like the muzzle. It has a cute pattern and is not too tight. I have a 20 lb. long-haired dachshund, and I ordered a small. He tried to get it off, but did not succeed. We got it cause he chews at his leg because of anxiety, and we are trying to teach him other ways to soothe. I like that the part that goes over the snout is not too tight. He can still open his mouth a bit, so I know he's not clenching his teeth. He starts to get really calm and normally takes a nap.
