There doesn't seem to be a size that properly fits a ~3.5 foot tall 3 year old (44" tall). The legs of the suit are about 3-4 inches too long, but the body area is a bit tight. He'll grow into the legs, but not sure about the rest of it. The next size down seems way too small, but maybe they run big too? The custom has a lot of stray threads. Mom spent a while just cutting off all the long threads around the seams of the mask and suit. The seams also don't look like they will last very long. Our kid loves Flash, and we got it as a reward. If he wears it weekly, I would be surprised if the seams around the body and on the mask hold up until Halloween 6 months from now.

Bought this for my grandson. The quality is not good at all. The lightning bolt on one side of the mask was seen on wrong and is coming apart. The waist is sewn badly. The lightning bolts don't line up and there is red thread coming out of it everywhere. Afraid to pull the thread in fear of the whole thing coming apart. I would have thought for the price it would have been at least comparable to a Walmart or dollar store costume. Will be requesting a refund.

I went off the manufacturers recommended age and boy was I wrong! My son is 10 4’6 and about 50 lbs a size large is huge on him. I had to pin up the costume to make it workable for him. I was assuming the recommended age corresponded with size since it says 8-10 but the bag lists the size as a 12-14. I’m disappointed in the sizing being unclear. My son really wanted a muscular Flash costume. He loves watching the Flash. He sees the Flash as a skinny lanky superhero not a muscular one. He knows the suit is supposed to be tight. He asked if there was time to return the costume for a smaller size but unfortunately not.

Bought this for my son as a Halloween costume and he liked it so much he’s decided to wear it 2-3 times a week since. Sizing chart is pretty spot on, match your child’s weight/height and you shouldn’t run in to fitment issues. No complaints of itchiness from the fabric though we did experience a little tearing at the seams after a few weeks of continuous wear. It’s held up pretty well, considering. The color of the suit has stayed well after multiple washings. I do recommend sewing or securing the lightning bolts on the mask if your kid plans on wearing the costume often to prevent them coming off after the first few washes. The same goes for the straps in the foot portion of the costume that hold the outfit in place.

Ordered this at the last minute - otherwise I would have returned it - but there was no time (my fault). But, I never anticipated the poor workmanship of this product. Based on the size chart I ordered a Large hoping that it would at least fit. Contrary to other reviews that it runs small, it is about two sizes too big. The stitching is horrible. The Velcro tabs on the foot straps fell off before we left the house. The main seam on the back of the mask is too short - you can see the cutout darts from the pattern - suggesting the seam should be at least one inch longer. I realize that I didn't pay a lot for it - but I did expect it to hold up during trick or treating. Unlike other costumes we've purchased before - this one will not go in the toy box for future play. It's beyond trying to fix on the sewing machine - I've got to figure out how to toss it without my seven year old having a conniption. My issue is NOT with the seller - it is with the maker.

My son loves this. Let me tell you about JOY. Joy is watching your son, a huge FLASH fan, SUIT UP in his costume. When he starts running around the room, you get this great idea to grab a camera, and try to snap some pictures. Because you set it to a lower speed, some of the shots are a bit blurry - so those yellow boots suddenly look like yellow streaks - just like on the Justice League series - and you son now thinks HE IS THE FLASH. Love it.

My son is 5. I don't really know if he is small or big for his age or what, but I got the medium. It was a little long, which is fine because a small would have been too small I bet. But geez he loves this thing. He put it on immediately and as you could guess he was flashing around the house all night. The helmet thing looks super cool. Obviously this isn't like super awesome quality. It has cheap little Velcro in the back of the suit and helmet to hold it on. The 5 stars is for how awesome it looks and how much my son loves it.
