Works very well. We have a pin hitch at the back of our golf cart and connect a plastic dump-bucket trailer to it with this pin. The magnet is strong enough to prevent the pin from bouncing out on its own. Yesterday I drove it all over a very bumpy grass field for hours and not once did it ever bounce out (like my non-magnetic one did). I didn't even use the clevis pin to hold it in - it just was not needed. I did use a small rope to tie the pin onto the handle just so it wouldn't get lost. It would have been nice if there was a little hole in the handle to store the clevis pin when it's not stuck through the main rod. I can pull out the red handle with about the expected amount of force - some effort of course because it's magnetic but not an undue amount of force. I like the rubber coating, and the red color is nice should you ever misplace it so that it would be easy to find. It's wide enough to fit 3 or 4 of my fingers through the main oblong hole in the handle. I would recommend this item.

This is one of the best purchases I’ve made. I use it on my Cub Cadet mower, and it makes hooking and unhooking the cart incredibly easy. The included pin is a nice bonus but not essential. My only concern is its long-term durability.

Heavy duty. My husband absolutely loves this hitch. It has a very strong magnetic ring on it it comes with the pin aswell but we couldn't believe how stong the magnet is. Amazing. He needed a hitch on his zero turn so he can hitch his small trailer to carry mulch or pick up outside debris. Well worth it. Absolutely satisfied.

I had been using a screwdriver because the other thing I had wasn't long enough to go through both holes on the lawnmower connection. This one fits perfect on my craftsman lawnmower hitch. And I love the addition of the magnet. I didn't really think it was going to matter much, but the first time I removed it, I would have lost the pin had it not had the magnet. Innovative! I am glad I purchased this one because it was the cheapest one I could find (how much does something like this really need to cost? And why the wide price range?) and I am super happy with it.
