  • Pretty content and works well so far
Color: Porcelain-Enameled
So I love my Traeger and call me sentimental, but I didn't want to give up after all the cooking we'd done but I didn't want to pay the OEM price for many of the parts I needed so I picked this up. This went it super easy and I had decided to just replace a lot of my parts the grill took a tumble and I happened to pick this fire pot because of the coating and I am hoping that this works well and dust fuse with the body of the grill like my other had due to rusting. Repalcing everything was super easy and didn't take long to do, I would suggest not waiting as long as I had in replacing some of these parts as they get older especially at this price if you have one of the older style Traegers. ... show more

  • Set screw
Color: Porcelain-Enameled
The set screw for the igniter would not go past the inner wall because of the ceramic. Cheap aluminum screw broke off when I hit the inner wall. Spent 30 minutes removing the remaining portion of the set screw and finally got it out. Had to find a harder self tapping screw that was the same thread to break through the ceramic on the inner wall. After that, the installation was fairly easy but I found if you pop the control panel off it makes it much easier to fish the igniter in and out of the fan box and into the tunnel. Haven’t tried it yet but will try to update. ... show more

  • Fits perfectly in the Pit Boss Laredo 1000
Color: Porcelain-Enameled
This fit great in my Pit Boss grill. It was a bit difficult to remove my old, rusty screws and I had to use my grinder on a couple, but that has nothing to do with this kit itself. Once I got the old parts out it was very easy to swap this in and mount it. The grill ignites and the new firepot replaced my old heavily rusted out and completely failing (grill would no longer heat) old one. Love it! ... show more

  • Almost perfect
Color: Porcelain-Enameled
Item was bent when received, so I had to do some modifications to fit on my Pit Boss 700 Classic. Once on though, it works great.

  • It's a direct replacement for the Treager fire burn pot
Color: Silver-Steel Kit
My beloved Traeger, the king of BBQ, was starting to cough like a smoker with a two-pack-a-day habit. Turns out, the fire burn pot was rusting faster than a politician caught in a lie. Enter this knight in shining armor: a replacement pot, complete with its own trusty squire - a new hot rod! Installation? I'm picturing myself wielding screwdrivers like Excalibur, battling against the elements (e.g. waiting for decent weather), but honestly, it seems like a walk in the park compared to the burnt offerings I've served up on this grill. So, will this new fire burn pot reignite the flames of my BBQ passion? Stay tuned for the epic grill-off! But for now, let's just say this rusty knight is officially dethroned. P.S. I might add to this review later, depending on how epic (or disastrous) the installation goes. Wish me luck, fellow grill warriors! ... show more

  • Great, heavy duty replacement fire pot!
Color: Porcelain-Enameled
This porcelain fire pot replacement for my Pit Boss grill is Awesome! The original fire pot was a steel, standard pot. This replacement pot fits perfectly, and I know that the porcelain will add time to the life of this replacement. It was super easy to install, with just a short lookup to a video online. It took about 30 minutes to complete the install, total. I am very pleased with the fire pot, and the ignition rod worked perfectly as well! ... show more

  • Drop-in replacement
Color: Porcelain-Enameled
My firepot was a total disaster, I got my pit boss for free so I can't complain too much. I got it from a buddy who left it outside in the elements without any sort of protection. I've had to replace a lot of different parts both inside and out because they were all rusted. This fire pot dropped right in without any issues. I didn't need the igniter since I have some much better ones, but it's nice having one come with it. ... show more

  • If your smoker means a lot to you, get one.
Color: Porcelain-Enameled
I'm not sure how long to expect a pot and igniter to last before burnout on a heavily used pellet smoker. We are going to find out. In the meantime, we'll hold this replacement part in reserve.
