Works perfect
This works perfect for uneven dirt ground. The only issue is it did not come with the U bolts needed to install it but we were able to get the ones needed at the local hardware store.

Wheel Bracket too short to avoid gate frame!
Poorly engineered: the design is such that the bracket holding the wheel assembly is not extended enough to keep the wheel from hitting the gate when the wheel assembly swivels. I had to buy extra long U-bolts for this and insert a 1 1/2” steel square tube between my gate and the wheel assembly to make sure the wheel doesn’t spin around, hitting the gate and locking everything up. If you expect to just bolt this onto your gate frame and forget about it, then pass this one up. If you don’t mind re-engineering the assembly, then proceed.

Heavy Duty
This wheel is really heavy duty! There are bearings to help it pivot and spin smoothly. The reason I gave it 4 stars is the packaging was terrible. Thin cardboard and no inner supports in the packaging. This weighs over 10 pounds and the grease port snapped off in shipping due to bouncing around. Great product overall.
