The media could not be loaded. Updated: 11.28.23. I wanted to add pictures of my dogs previous kennel. Comparative, the new kennel has been a splendid upgrade, to say the least. And she is an aggressive chewer. Since she is a big dog, I feel more comfort knowing that she has enough room as well. I love this kennel, I gave it 5 stars because it was easy to put together and easy to clean. I have a 2 year old husky who tore up her old standard kennel (the common kennel, the one that everyone gets the first time). The metal was broken, she chewed through some of the bars that it was just falling apart, and it was super loud when she would get in and out of it. This sturdy kennel is quiet, she has so much room to move about and she can't chew it which is great for her teeth. Lol. She has fallen love with it. She won't lay anywhere else. :) I hope this review helps other pet owners like myself. It did take more time to arrive but it is definitely worth the price if have a little one that needs a home equivalent to a kennel house. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I came back and changed my review to 5 star as I have had the crate for a month now. All I can say is it has worked wonders for my rescue Catahoula who had such separation anxiety he had chewed through two crates, b Chewed holes in the walls of my new home, damaged window sills and baseboards etc. He absolutely lives this crate. I think it's tge fact there are no bars, instead holes so he can see out in all directions, even the top. He has claimed it as his now and sleeps in it with the door open at night and when we have to leave he goes right in and we shut the door. He has not offered to try to get out or chew on the cage. Prior to this cage he had done upwards of $4K damage to our house and we were ready to surrender him to a shelter, as a last ditch effort we bought this crate...it is worth every cent. It saved our home from further destruction and saved his life because dogs with behavior issues rarely get adopted out of shelters. When we are home he is a Prince, nowadays when we leave....he remains a Prince! This crate is awesome! Update to original review: The seller refunded a portion of the charge because the crate was bent and no instructions. I was happy with that. So far the crate has held up well and my big Goldendoodle (who is not the dog I bought it for) has taken it over. My overly anxious 9 month old Leopard Dog is who I bought it for, he seems to enjoy being in it and hasn't torn it up like he did prior crates, I think the design (no bars) it the reason he cannot destroy it. So I'm changing my rating to 4 stars, would be 5 but the delayed shipping and receipt of a damaged panel cost a star. Original Review: Arrived late. Panel was damaged. Zero assembly instructions. Hired someone to try to figure out how to put it together, it took nearly an hour, he said the metal and the hardware are cheaply made and he thought my dog would easily bend the metal. I'm going to give it chance but sorely disappointed in spending over $300 on a crate that seems very flimsy. At this point the late arrival and arriving damaged is my biggest complaint, I won't know until my dog tries to get out of the crate if it's inescapable or indestructible, the fact that the side panels had damage upon arrival makes me think it's probably not going to be indestructible. ... show more

The cage is not as heavy duty as seller makes it seem, walls are thin I have had this cage for almost 3 months and my chocolate lab /german shepherd mix was able to rip the side wall and it doing so he cut his mouth and his paw. Not worth the money.

First off the pros! So this cage is LARGE. If I wanted to I could fit myself inside and close the door. It was also easy to assemble by myself following the steps provided in the instructions. My dog immediately climbed in after setting down her mat and bedding, and considers this her own personal space. We leave the door open during the day and at night so she knows the kennel is a free option for her, safe, and not a punishment. Her personality allows for this. It only closes when we are all gone. We’ve had problems in the past with her chewing through the backyard fence under some separation anxiety. There is nowhere for her to bite or chew on in this cage. But we’ve found she’s a lot calmer in the cavelike atmosphere while we’re away. So this is a game changer! With proper Exercise before we all leave for an event, and the TV on, we can have her in it for 5 or 6 hours. It’s super easy to move and roll around. If we need to relocate her, we can no problem. Peaches holds it till she’s let outside very well, so I haven’t had any real use of the potty pans at the bottom, but they’ve kept her shed hair and snack crumbs off the floor. Now the cons… This certainly isn’t rust proof. The cosmetics don’t bother me at all, but it’s worth noting that this did arrive with flecks of rust and scratches from minimal padding between parts in the box. This item also arrived with one of the latches to the roof door completely broken. The weakest point of this cage are all of the locks on all doors. They can be jiggled or forced out of place with some determination. Madness!! If you have an escape artist, you’ll have to reinforce the locks with rods or a padlock, or replace them all together. I decided when I purchased this cage that I would never open the roof door, so our little pit has no idea this is an option. So, the broken lock was whatever in my case. This cage is a little too pricy for the most important part to be the worst. So if your dog learns to really dislike the cage, it wouldn’t be a worth it option. Unless! You’re able to modify the locks. Some other comments: I’ll note that I recommend buying a mat for the bottom of the cage. If your dog has smaller paws they’ll get caught in the open floor bars. I picked up a pink one up from the bathroom section of Amazon. You can get a 30*40inch plush, bath mat made out of the exact same material as the ‘dog’ branded ones, but a third of the price. Regular cage attachments for bowls and snacks can still be hung through the cage holes. You can darken the cage further with a regular blanket. ... show more

Definitely heavy duty, definitely easy to install. Took my best bud 2days to create that hole, we are a current 3weeks and I have been soldering away. It’s pointless though cause my best bud is relentless at escaping.

Crate is dented on the top. We can use it but very disappointment that we paid a lot of money for a damaged product.
