This material is very thin and not at all sturdy I was afraid the bottom of the tree would poke a hole in the bag. I’m afraid to drag the tree on the ground and it’s very heavy. Side handles would’ve been nice.

This is large enough for a big tree and lots of things tucked in with it. It is lightweight but sturdy. I'm very pleased that it is water resistant or waterproof. An alternative use for one (or more) of these inexpensive bags for emergency evacuation. Several of the smaller ones could be kept with a list of critical things to save, or take, in the event of evacuation. One could be a prepackef "go bag" with a few days' worth of clothes, an extra pair of glasses, a week's worth of medication, and some emergency food. We live in strange times. It may be odd that waterproof Christmas tree storage bags could help us survive them, but there you have it. These are very good value no matter how you choose to use them. I had intended to use this bag for my single 7 foot Christmas tree, but when it arrived and I opened it up, I realized that I could easily store all six of my existing Christmas trees in the bag and still have room to add my new Christmas tree that is still in the box.
