Quality of the product was quite decent and once completed was a very stable stand. My concerns with the unit is the tiny little pods that the pointed feet are supposed to be placed into if you don't want to damage a wood floor it's very difficult the line them up by yourself. The other thing is the instruction manual. Parts of it are so poorly written it could be featured in a silly comedy movie. But the images on the manual basically show how things go together. ... show more

I admit I was a little skeptical because it was so low priced. But I was pleasantly surprised. Picture attached on how I used it. Assembly was easy peazy and all the parts were there. I did not use the spike feet on the bottom. What I did for that was to put some self adhesive furniture pads since it was going on top of another wood unit and did not want to scratch it. This worked out so well I will probably order two more and make a custom rack just a little taller as a stand alone and I will add a different style of feet. The way it is designed it is all modular and you can easily combine them to make what you want. Note in the picture. Those Sony units weigh 40lbs plus each. The stand shows up looking like it was designed by someone who wanted to mix retro charm with industrial seriousness. The black finish is sleek, and the clean retro look makes audio gear look like it belongs in a proper studio instead of a college dorm. It can hold heavy equipment if it fits on the shelves, which is impressive considering most racks start wobbling when you put anything bigger than a toaster on them. Assembly is straightforward, though the instructions assume you already know how to build furniture in your sleep. The stacking design is clever, but it also means you’ll spend a few minutes wondering if you’re building a stand or a Lego tower.
