  • Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money. I got this for hitting lessons in my back yard. The instructions are terrible. The frame is crap. It bows in everywhere. I followed all of the instructions to a T. Horrible. Should have dropped more cash for a better cage. The netting is absolute crap. It's 5 months old, and literally has 15 holes in it. the dimensions are so off from reality and the weight of the net makes the whole frame either fall in, or pull apart. It's a joke of a product. I have put in more man hours repairing and putting the frame back together than I have hitting in it. I will never buy from this company again. And let me clarify one thing...for the price I was not expecting the best of the best. But I was expecting a cage that looked nice and kept me from chasing balls and not going through neighbor's windows...this cage is not quality enough to provide that peace of mind. I am getting a student of mine to weld the frame pieces together, with supports, and buying a totally new netting system. Save your money... this is crap. ... show more

  • Really good, ...but could have been just a little better
We've had our batting cage up for 2 weeks now, ..and it's held up in the very windy climate we've had this spring. The 48 foot version is just 2 of the 24 foot version, and then threaded together. The setup was quite long, but easy. It's not exactly sturdy and some of the anchors bend when extremely windy, ...but not big deal cause I just bend them back and it works great. We purchased the matching "Heater" pitching machine and it works great as well. We also purchased a home plate. Pros: It's less expensive than others. Cons: It's a little flimsy. My biggest complaint would be the strings in between each hoop. It's not 1 continuous string that threads thru all of the hoops, instead, it's an individual sting between each hoop... and there is 5 string lines. So for us it was 20 individual stings to tie, readjust, tie again, etc. The ends are not strong enough to support any end swaying, so there are anchors as well. Setting up the anchors need to be done first, but when putting on the net, you need to take the anchors down and have someone hold the end hoop from falling. It was a lot of work, but now that it's done, we love it!! ... show more

  • Don't bother - waste of money
The poles are flimsy, dimensions don't measure up, and the instructions are crap. The best part is the completely worthless "steel" stakes. My 6 yr old could bend the stakes with her bare hands. From flimsy ground stakes, to broken poles, bowing poles, this is a waste of time. The time to maintain this cage is beyond reason. Think you want to try it as a portable cage? That's a joke too. Time to put up and take down is unreasonable. ... show more
