Recently purchased an Airstream Caravel 22fb. I have been hauling cargo trailers for the past 20 years and could see all the way down the side to the back end. Not with this new travel trailer. Ordered these tow mirrors from WHALEMOTOR and I am very pleased with my purchase. I am mechanically inclined sometimes so I wanted to attempt to install them to save myself a several hundred dollars. I pulled up a YouTube video and off I went. I was reluctant to try and install them because I do not own a trim tool which is mentioned. I thought I can probably achieve what I need to with a flat head screwdriver. IT WORKED! Mirrors: Love the look asthetically! No noise is heard whatsoever from the mirros (had truck at a speed of 72 mph today - no noise)! The quality is nice and they should last several years I'm hoping. Signal on mirrors work! Heated feature works! Auto movement (adjustment ability) of the larger top mirror works as it should! Visibility is AWESOME! I can see down the entire side of the trailer and to the back end! My vision has improved 100% - seeing down the sides on both sides - I feel much safer driving in traffic! The value for the money was PERFECT for my retirement budget! Pads which go behind mirrors are included as well as 8 new washer/nut combinations! ** I can see the wires behind the mirrors just slightly when the mirrors are adjusted all the way out - does not bother me due to the price and savings of me doing the install. Comparing them to what the Chevy Dealership wanted for their mirrors plus labor I saved over $900. Yay for me. You never know what you can do until you try! Easy install on my 2002 Chevy 2500HD. Worked good but I did have to replace the control switch. One thing of note is that they came with the nuts and after I dropped two of the original ones into the bowels of the door, I was glad to have them. So far, the work And look great.

I installed the mirrors as soon as I received them on a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD. The mirrors were well packaged in the box. When I inspected my installation, I noticed scratches on the plastic housing of both mirrors (it seemed like I received a used/return?). I was going to keep them anyway, but after torrential rain in Texas, I noticed that the driver's side mirror was dripping rust water, seeping out from the bottom seam, and splashing it onto my truck. Plugs are a little tighter fit doesn't make a very obvious click when plugging into your window switches but they do lock in, and they dont make your blinkers blink fast, just like oem

Factory fit, little to no vibration. Only minor complaint is the driver’s mirror had wires visible between the mirror and the housing due to the way they were bunched up in there when mirrors aren’t pulled out. Stuck a plastic pry tool in there to push them back some and don’t notice them anymore. My original mirrors were power adjust only (I don’t think they are/were heated). New ones plugged right in and the turn signals worked with zero mods or changes. Too warm to tell if the heated function works as well. Photo attached of mirror while driving 60mph. I was on the fence for almost a year due to the many contradictory reviews. I pulled the trigger on an Amazon Deal and paid about $108. The install was “plug and play” and took about 45 minutes to an hour. There were no instructions, but you can find step by step instructions on YouTube. The only issue I see is a slight vibration at highway speeds, but with tow mirrors that is almost impossible to avoid. It was not bad enough to regret the purchase or to ding a star. I just finished installing these on a 2011 GMC Sierra. Decent construction, there are some flaws in the plastic from the mold. The electronics work. The cables are a little shorter than the OEM mirrors so following the same run is nearly impossible in the door. We'll see how long they last.
