Love these heated socks. They each have their own battery pocket that fit snugly and charge via USB-C. The socks are also long which makes them feel very secure. Warmth wise, even on the lowest setting, my toes stayed comfortably warm without overheating. I've tried these a few times since I got them and the battery life is pretty impressive too. Got a good 5 hours or so with no problem and there's probably enough juice for another couple hours. There's also an app that you can use to control the settings through the phone. I like this sock enough to purchase additional. The socks feel very comfortable. It is thick and made with material that feels warm to my feet that I might not need the batteries to provide the heat. The batteries added little weights to the upper Lower legs.

Wore for the first time yesterday, and toes stayed very comfortable without feeling warm on the lowest heat setting (not using app) Battery pocket is a good size, just snug, but easy to get in and out Socks are REALLY tall, which makes them a little more difficult to get on and off, but guarantees that they will be above any boots I wear. UPDATE After another few weeks of cold weather and a couple times snowboarding STILL gets 5 STARS! Should have gotten these years ago! 1. They stay bluetooth connected even when not heating. Put them on, plug them into the batteries and you can connect to your phone. I have an iPhone 11. Turn them off and on without having to open up your ski pants to get to them. 2. The seams don't rub my ankles. They are very comfy. Large fit my US size 10 foot perfectly. The written instructions say you have to allow location sharing, but they don't. I have tested the fit in both XtraTufs mud boots and K2 Mindbender ski boots without issue. I haven't tested them on the slopes yet for a long period of time. Note they do suggest you keep the battery charged even in the off season - every three months or so. Pretty disappointed in these. They did not warm up as described and even on high, I barely felt any heat. Returned them and will use my disposable toe warmers which keep my feet warmer than these socks.

Size: X-Large Style: Black
These are pretty good socks, but there are a few things that could be improved. I will use these primarily for hunting in central Minnesota in November. Temperatures this weekend ranged from high teens to low 40s F. These were worn in conjunction with tall insulated rubber boots. Let's start with the pros: The socks by themselves (with the heating elements off) are pretty warm, comparable to my wool hunting socks. Comfort is about 3/5. You can feel the wires and the elements through the fabric. If your boots are tight, they might be uncomfortable. My hunting boots are a size larger than I would normally wear so I can wear thicker socks. After wearing them for about 5hrs, the wires from the battery packs start to press into your calves. Not unbearable, but I was ready to get them off after the sit. I hiked with these on for a total of 4-5miles and they stayed up and didn't bunch up. The batteries stayed in place. I am a size 13 foot and the XL size fit my feet fine, though the calves were a little tight, but I'd rather them be too tight than too loose. The batteries charge in 2-3 hrs and using medium heat and running the sporadically as my feet got cold, I found that I could have easily made them last all day on a full charge. Low setting is barely perceptible, medium is comfortable, and high will make your toes sweat after a half hour in 25-30°F ambient temperature). The cell phone app is very handy for controlling the intensity and duration of the heat without having to reach down to turn them on. The batteries are curved to contour to your calf and are not heavy. Cons: Why does the app need to know my exact location in order to run the app? I feel like the app is probably data mining for whoever owns the app. There is no need for that. You can still use the socks without the app if that is an issue for you. I'm not sure how long these will last. After the 3rd sit, the snaps that keep the battery pouches closed are already tearing out. One is only holding on by a few threads. I feel like using buttons instead of snaps would have been better, and if I don't return them I will probably remove the snaps and sew buttons on. I wish the heels were also heated, but it is nice that the elements cover the top and bottom of your toes. Conclusion: For the price, these are decent socks. I would like to keep them, but we'll see how the next few days go. If they show more signs of falling apart I will probably return them. ... show more

Socks were as described. Getting them set up in the APP was a little difficult because the directions were very vague. I did figure it out on my own but took some time. Once connected, it was easy to use. Socks worked great but I am using them for hunting in November so we’ll see how they do in the cold.
