For the money, They are good. They get warm and keep my feel warm, but there is no heat on the heal and i wish that they would be able to be turned up to the point where they would roast my feet. However, I was surprised to see them work on medium for about 5-6 hours and I still had 1 bar left in the battery. No complaints. The App is Outstanding! I have a tendency to hit the buttons on the side of the socks when working, so it is great to be able to look to see if they are on without pulling up my pantleg. Drawback: button is very easy to push so you don't have to hold the button to turn them on so if you bump them, you might have 1 sock on and the other off or different temperatures. You don't realize until your 1 foot start getting a little cold.

My husband is a garbage man and has to get out of his truck many times a day, in addition to having to drive with his door open at times. He LOVES these socks. They don't actually "cook" your feet but keep them from freezing. We just endured 40 hours of sub zero temperatures and even hit -50 (you read that correctly NEVATIVE 50) and his feet stayed not frozen (which was the intent). Like I said, it won't cook your feet but will keep them from going numb from the cold. You won't regret this purpose if you work/play outside in the elements.

I can’t say enough good things about the quality of the toe stitching……but the toe area is double layered fabric with the heating elements in between making them so thick my boots don’t fit, if my boots were new I would just send back for a bigger size….super bummed out I had to return these socks

Just got these after having not much luck with 2 other heated socks I tried. These ones work: I could feel the heat (but haven't had the chance yet to test them under cold conditions) and they are soft, comfortable and appear very well made. The battery hook up the the sock is solid (USB connection, same as used to charge them) and the battery pouch in the sock also seems very solid and durable. I intend to use them hiking/backpacking so comfort is a key factor. I didn't feel any discomfort from the wires in the sock so I think they'll work well for backpacking. Also, the app to control heat is very handy (so you don't have to undress to adjust the heat settings) but I wonder if it will work when I'm far away from any internet connection. These things 'aint cheap (but much less expensive than some other manufacturers) so I intend to submit another review after I've tested them for a while. Hopefully that can help you decide if it's worth the investment (I had to do something because my Raynaud's was preventing me from enjoying cold weather activities).

I have poor circulation and my feet are always cold in the winter. These socks are SO nice for keeping my feet warm. I have been putting on the highest setting until my feet feel warm, then I put it on a lower setting while I sleep . I’ve been using them every night and it’s life changing for me and my freezing cold feet. They’re a little bulky on the calf because if the battery but it doesn’t bother me . I’ve never used outdoors or with shoes. I wanted them solely for when I sleep and they’re perfect for that.

These are Bluetooth controlled as opposed to the button remote of the VOLT. Plus, the app gives one the battery life remaining. The most important feature is that they are warmer than the VOLT.
