I love this heat gun. So hot. So compact. Very targeted heated air flow. Works incredibly well on heat shrink and solder seal wire connectors. One of my favorite tools now. Between this heat gun and some nice solder seal, my soldering iron is getting a lot less use. Also great for cleaning up uneven hot glue and debonding hot glued parts (e.g. for foam board RC aircraft) though watch out, it will melt and warp PLA, foam board, etc., if you're not very careful with the beam.

I own several different types of heat guns, but I wanted to have something for my electronics, circuit boards and small things, I went looking on here, and read some of the reviews of course before I decided to purchase. Some of the reviews I don't believe them, cause anything can happen between the seller, warehouse, and whoever is shipping the thing to your front door. I think some people just don't understand that, but you never know either, but I took a chance anyways. I have own this for quite awhile and used it many, many times before I wanted to post a review. For starters, this lil gun is just like a Dremel tool, for whoever has used one. Light, heats up pretty quick, even on the low setting, in which there are two speeds. low and then just high. has a couple of attachments, the cord that plugs into an outlet is a decent length so your not tied to the wall using it. I think you can hang it as well, and finally the price wasn't to bad. The only thing that would be nice, is a case for it, but I guess that could be an option. Otherwise than that, It has worked out great for me.

The green color is not the lovely shade shown in the photos. It's more of a yellow with a hint of pea green. Not totally sure I didn't just receive the wrong color by mistake. It does exactly what it says it will do though, so it's not worth exchanging for a different color. Feels sturdy and well made, easy to hold and to control the stream of heat. Perfect temp for post-processing 3d prints so long as you keep it moving. Overall, I'm happy with it. Just wish I received the color I thought I was buying!

The perfect crafting tool. I use mine all the time while water color painting. It’s light weight and easy to handle. It helps dry wet paint quickly when I’m impatient. Would highly recommend. Good price for a quality dryer.
