So disappointed, frustrated, angry... I bought a Cricut Maker because of all the things they advertised it could do. I bought this engraving tool because their website says it can engrave their metallic leather. I did a chat with one of their online reps to be sure, before I wrecked a good piece of leather. Clearly their standard of nicely engraved leather and mine is vastly different. The edges of the engraving are frayed and the deep cut blade, set on the highest pressure would not cut through the leather. I literally had to tear out each circle. There's no where to rate their debossing tip, which their website says works on their faux leather, but it was terrible too. For years I have heard about how amazing cricut machines are, not my experience at all. I've sent an email to them, we'll see what happens. Either I have a faulty machine or they have WAY overestimated their product and made wrong claims. ... show more

This buyer sells the real deal - authentic Cricut blades and housing. Pay close attention to what you’re ordering also. I ended up returning because I ordered the wrong item. If you do not already have a quick swap housing already, order the desired tip + quick housing swap.

I already have the housing needed for the tip. It's definitely the Cricut branded engraving tip, and did what it needed to do. The Cricut website doesn't do a great job of telling you what materials you can realistically use it with, but they have some excellent product partners that have lists on their personal websites. ... show more
