The set is everything I expected, except that the cups all leaked, messing up the tea party. I've used several sets exactly like this, and none of those leaked. I have been able to create a repair, but I wouldn't give it as a gift without first testing it for leaks. Very cute, though, and the pictures created much conversation as we sopped up the leaks with our napkins. Cartying case is cute, but chainstitched with dangling threads, which comes right apart under curious and swift little fingers. I have to repair that as well, but haven't had time. I like that it isn't plastic and doesn't break, but it could use some quality adjustment. ... show more

This is a simple metal child’s tea set, and the metal sets are a great tea set where kids can play out fun times and not have to worry about breakage. I got this set to have a fun tea party with my two granddaughters and - using apple juice for the tea - we had fun and they were enthralled with the entire play acting fun. This set in particular is one of the cutest with the woodland critters all over them. Very decorative, and the girls got a kick out of getting to pick which one of the critters would be on their own cup and saucer. We had tea after reading a couple of books about having tea, which made the whole thing even more fun. I had also purchased the sweet The Tea Party In the Woods by Akiko Miyakoshi which the girls loved.
