    • Troubleshooting Bluetooth Connections

This is my second pair of Bluetooth hearing aids/amplifiers, and I really love them. They fit in my ears, have only the most brief feedback when putting them on, the hearing test and automatic adjustment to my hearing problems make them super easy to deal with. They are particularly valuable if you have different hearing needs for each ear. They sync automatically so you hear the blended sound. Bluetooth connections on this pair as well as my first pair required some troubleshooting. Below are suggestions that worked with my Samsung Note 8 Android smart phone. Follow them after you have your new devices charged up and in your ears with the hearing working: 1. Download the bluetooth app named Soundwear, install it, and tell it to search for your active devices. The device names are in your instruction manual 2. If the app cannot find your devices, start troubleshooting. Check to see if anything else is currently using bluetooth. If so, disconnect it until you get your new hearing aids connected and working with the phone's bluetooth. You can probably reconnect the other device(s) after you set up the new devices. 3. Try to connect the phone's bluetooth and the two hearing aids again. If that also fails, double check any other bluetooth device nearby and make sure it is completely turned off as it may be on and running on battery power even though you turned it off or unplugged it. In my case, it is usually my Bose bluetooth speaker that's the problem. One time it was another pair of bluetooth hearing aids I had ready to return. 4. Still not connecting? Try turning the hearing aids off and then on again, or take them off, put them in the case, remove them, then put them back on and repeat the above process. If you're still having trouble, try leaving the sound on for a few minutes as the app will continue to search; sometimes they finally get the idea and all of a sudden you hear a message that they are connecting. Once you're successful, you'll probably find it much easier from then on. Further information: To manually turn your devices on or off, press on the outer part of either device a little above midway a long press for 3 seconds to turn on, a long press for 5 seconds to turn off. One device will cause the same action in both devices. Your devices will tell you what they are doing. Handy, right? If you still haven't successfully paired the devices to your phone, try putting everything away for an hour or two and then retry the troubleshooting directions. So far, I have not discovered any customer service phone numbers, and Amazon doesn't have any either--thus these suggestions for anyone who's gotten as frustrated as I have. I can't use this at all. My Smart Phone is an Android and it only works with IPhones or maybe Androids that scan bar codes but mine doesn't. I only have mild hearing loss and it blasts your ear off, right out of the box. Now, I can't download the app. and no info whatsoever on how you adjust the volume. Probably have to return. I guess it works well if you can find a way to use it and evidently a lot of people can. I'm not one of them. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These are amazing, I have an auditory processing disorder so I ordered these just to amplify speech when I am around my coworkers or background noise. These hearing amplifiers seem to actually mimic real hearing aids yet at a fraction of the cost. PLUS they look like bluetooth air pods so I am not embarrassed by them being hearing aids. Great quality and super comfortable. These fit in your ears like a pair of earbuds One of the fabulous things about these hearing aids is that they are rechargeable. Hearing aid batteries are very expensive and because I can recharge them I do not have to buy the expensive batteries. They pair up with Bluetooth immediately and without issues. It's Wonderful hearing amplifier with Bluetooth if you can get pass the hurdle of connecting to control app, the app control was the most important feature for me to select this product. App suggested by seller (ZDEER sound) did not worked for my Android, I tried every way possible this app requires account setting and signing in which I got "login failed" messages everytime tried to login, no further information or source to get help to solve the problem. However I download a different app from "Google play "and get it working, and so far I am very happy with performance. ... show more
