Please note this is for a single amplifier as described. You do not get a pair to have one for each ear. The packaging is nice, and it comes with accessories including a charging adapter and cord. It charged easily and was ready for use. Overall the tips and design make for a comfortable fit. It is large enough you know you have something hanging out of your ear, but not too intrusive. I found that I could turn it on after it was inserted which cuts down on the feedback squealing. I could also adjust the volume but not with fine changes. It works. Indoors you can use it to amplify conversations and TV. This style of amplifier is acceptable for that purpose. The sound quality is fine, but it does have enough latency that you may hear echoes from the source of the sounds. In quiet environments it provide as much sound as needed. In loud environments it just makes everything uncomfortably loud. It does not help with speech or particular frequencies. I currently am wearing Receiver In Canal style hearing aids that were purchased OTC from Lexie. They work to aid hearing in quiet, loud, and challenged environments. High end prescription hearing can do that even better because they have filters and hardware that tune the frequencies you need to hear. This amplifier cannot do that, so don't confuse them with hearing aids. If you just need an amplifier this one works pretty well. It is reasonably priced and rechargeable. I would only recommend for amplifying in quiet and controlled environments where you just need a boost in volume. Otherwise you might be better off looking at even basic OTC hearing aids. ... show more

This hearing aid gets the job done with its semi-clear sound amplification. It's easy to use and comes with a rechargeable feature for convenience. However, it may not fit perfectly for everyone, and it only works for one ear. Additionally, it doesn't block out background noise.
