Ordered not knowing for sure if they would fulfill my need. Turned out that they are comfortable and pretty much slip resistant but are not quite as large as I had hoped. By large I am referring to the grip diameter. The length is very sufficient.

I ordered these based on a recommendation in an article written by a women who only has one hand. For the life of me I can't figure out how she would be able to get these onto the handle of a broom or other handle. They probably would provide a good grip once they were on, but you'd never be able to get them off again or even move them up or down once they are on. They do seem well made and have a sticky feel to the outside which would probably help someone hold onto the handle, but I suspect someone without physical limitations would have to help put them on the handles. ... show more

My item came flawed looking much like this recent picture. Rather than return it I trimmed off the flawed row on the top of the grip after I had placed it on my walking stick. I am satisfied with the feel of the grip and I have zero complaints in that regard. I was looking for a set of grips for my broom because most broom sets sold these days have brooms that are slippery to hold and maneuver. Thee grips were easy to apply and definitely have a "groovy" feel!

I was searching for silverware and something to make it easier to hold a fork or knife This item came up but when it arrived I found it was make for handles much larger than a fork or knife - more like a broom handle. It may be helpful but not what I was looking for.
