  • Effective antihistamine
This has been an effective generic brand antihistamine. Within about an hour of taking it, my symptoms, specifically a runny/congested nose, are dramatically helped. Keep in mind, this antihistamine may make you drowsy (like me), so take care what tasks you need to accomplish after taking it. I take it in the evenings to help with my allergy-related runny/congested nose so I can breathe normally while I sleep. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a budget-friendly antihistamine. ... show more

  • It's Diphenhydramine, and it's 3 pennies a tablet.
C'mon what can you buy for three cents? Even penny candy costs a dime, these days. It's Diphenhydramine, and I'll bet that the brand name brand Benadryl is made with the exact same drug feedstock. I don't recommend it for usual allergies, look into cetirizine which won't make you drowsy. But I buy it for the drowsiness and occasionally use it when I wake up in the middle of the night--but I'm careful not to use it later than 2am, or I'll oversleep There is some evidence that long-term use of Diphenhydramine can cause cognitive harm, especially older folk (like me) and especially long-term use. From what I've read both dose and amount used (time) are factors. I use this less than a dozen times a year so I am not concerned, but I know folk who use 2 tablets (50mg) every night, and I would not do that. See your Practitioner for more information if concerned. ... show more

  • Works, Economical
Just as effective as pricier brands and is easier to use than bubble wrapped versions. I will buy it again.
