My friend has been very ill. While in the hospital, I noticed that the nurses were using these barf bags. These bags were easy to use. They were easy to grab, covered the mouth completely, and left no mess anywhere. The bags were also self contained with a closure at the top. They were thrown away without a mess after each episode. When we returned home after being in the hospital, we were grabbing grocery bags which were leaving a mess everywhere, i.e., holes in the bottom of the bags, having to touch the bag and knot it, unsanitary, etc. I took a chance that Amazon would carry what was used in the hospital, and they had plenty to choose from. These bags are nothing short of amazing. I work in EMS and I use atleast 1-2 per day just at my station alone. Once my wife became pregnant, these were on my radar as one of the things to purchase. Obviously not something you think about, but they are super handy when you need them. Compact, small and robust. They are the perfect thing to have when you are not feeling well. Also they work super well for pets instead of using a plate, just trust me on this. Go purchase a set.

I have traveled with a barf bag for years now. Started when husband was getting chemo treatments. They fit in the netting behind the front seats. They are durable, never experienced any leakage. I’ve also used them for contaminantion wipes or tissue. So easy to use just make sure you bend you head down a bit then lean in with mouth inside the plastic ring and just barf. They hold more than you think. Do not recommend reusing.
