    • These headlights fit the 2006 CR-V just like the originals
These headlights are a good replacement for the 2006 CR-V, with similar attaching points and notches for the interlocking parts. Not sure about the quality of the included bulbs, but they do work well: the light intensity is improved compared to the old ones, but this is not a fair comparison since the very reason I changed the headlights was that the lenses were cloudy. There are kits to clean up the lens which provide glass paper to take away the upper layer of polycarbonate that is the most affected by aging. Still, after about a year the process needs to be repeated, and at some point the lens is no longer strong enough, cracks easily. I did not experience cracking of the lens, but made a safe bet on just replacing the headlights. The low and high beam bulbs are included, already mounted in their slots. The other two bulbs in each headlight are not provided, so you need to keep the bulbs from the old installation and just attach them through the proper slots in the new headlights. A note about replacing the headlights on this car: the bumper cover has to come out in order to get access to all mount points for the headlights. No fun, need two persons to attach it back and aligning it perfectly is a tough test of patience. And be prepared with a few extra plastic clips / push pins as these break easily – I suspect some were already cracked before I even attempted taking them off. Also, the rule that you’ll run into one rusted bolt that will take most of the time still applies: I actually got two stubborn ones, quite a time drain. For now, all I can tell is that these headlights fit well, work well and are well made. The original ones lasted 18 years without any functional issue other than the lens becoming opaque. Hope these replacements last the same. There is a lot of vibration and thermal stress that the headlights are exposed to and there is no other credible evaluation other than putting miles on these and see how they behave. I can only rate them high for now, and revisit if anything happens. ... show more
