    • Best Night-Driving Glasses I’ve Tried
I’ve seen other comments in which customers complained that these glasses are too dark to see the road at night. I didn’t find this was the case at all. Most of my night driving is done on the freeways of a major city, and these glasses have gotten me through a large number of migraine-inducing bright headlights from both oncoming traffic as well as that from drivers in my rear-view and side mirrors — especially the latter as they are the closest to my car when I travel. However, the last part of my drive is done on fairly traffic-free, non-lit side streets; still, I have no problem seeing the road. The gradient from amber on top into a saturated yellow on bottom is an interesting transition I’ve not seen in other night-driving glasses; I like it! The $50 price tag is quite a bit higher than I would prefer, but my alternative was getting the $170 magnetic clip-ons custom-fitted to my regular prescription glasses. When compared with that, I feel these glasses are definitely worth the price, especially since I can wear them whether I wear my scripted glasses or not (for example, if I’m wearing contacts or an older set of prescription glasses). If you value versatility and a great reduction in the brightness of others’ headlights (be they blue-shaded LEDs or white or yellow-leaning tungsten), I believe these glasses are for you.     • Not worth the price
I've used these kinds of glasses before and have had lenses pop off when fumbling in the car to get the glasses on over my prescription glasses. No big deal, just pop them back in usually. I decided to not by the cheap ones anymore to avoid that inconvenience. However, this brand I'm reviewing did not live up to the price. These glasses fell out when I opened the package (I'm old a a little clumsy now and then) and a lens popped off, just like the cheaper brands. My bad so I popped them back in and.... after a lot of fiddling the lens seemed to go back in. I then put them into the provided glasses keeper which fastens onto the visor (an appreciated addition). I used them once and all seemed well, although the permanent logo embedded in the lens is super annoying. I had next had occasion to use them when I made a turn and found myself driving into a setting sun. I dropped my visor with the intention of sliding the glasses out of the keeper to cut down on the glare. The glasses slipped out of the keeper onto my lap and the lens popped off again! Enough!     • Gradient lenses: Great for well lit roads.
These lenses have a gradient tint. ie: darker at the top and nearly clear at the bottom. Which makes it easy to see your gauges while driving. They were too dark for my use however. I live in the country. The roadway is unlit and there are deer. Sometimes as many as five a night in the 12.5 mile drive. But for freeway or city use with well lit roads. These would be excellent. The glasses Work best during daylight hours for me. At night the headlights are still way to bright.

    • Life saver
These are a literal life saver! The first night I had to use them it was raining. I was so thrilled I could actually see the road and surroundings thanks to these! I had tried many other ones that claimed to work but none worked with the LED head lights or high beams. These do fit over my prescription glasses but it is tight fight with my frames being a little larger. I have recommended them to everyone I know who struggle with driving blindness especially with the new LED headlights that are so bright that they blind you. I would gladly buy them again if anything was to happen to them. I feel that my children and I are safer when I have to drive when it is dark or raining out now as well as other drivers on the road! ... show more
