I have used h & s in the past. My issue is not dandruff but itchy and oily scalp. I have long dark curly (Italian) hair and the regular h & s would dry out my ends. This one leaves my ends feeling better and absolutely jerks the itching at bay however I took off one star because my scalp doesn’t feel clean afterwards. I really like this shampoo and my hair likes it. It's kind of thick and lathers very well. Seems to be doing the job in helping to diminish dandruff and itching. I have 4B/C hair and it does a great job on it.

I have psoriasis and I’ve been struggling with scalp dandruff for a very long time. So bad that sometimes it actually travels onto my forehead. I decided to get this because I’ve been treating my hair naturally lately for my natural waves and curls. I love it on and it was very thick and smelled amazing. I also love that is sulfate and paraben free since my hair color treated. I let it sink in for about five minutes and rinsed it off the next day when I woke up after my hair dried almost all my dandruff was gone. I just used some lotion to clear up the dandruff that was still on my forehead and around my temples. I’ve struggled for so long with dandruff.
