    • A favorite form my childhood!
I loved this cartoon as child. They live action films haven't done it justice, and the new one really missed the point fo the cartoon; it didn't even have my favorite character, Orko, in the film. This cartoon embodies the 80s, and the Blu-ray collection contains all episodes and extra features. Bring a classic cartoon to the modern era for new audiences to enjoy and older audiences to relive. The picture quality is also really great considering it is a 40-year-old cartoon. ... show more

    • Pure nostalgia!
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Complete Original Series was pure nostalgia and a great bonus was that it's region free! Was an absolute joy to watch and great quality over its previous DVD releases. Well worth the upgrade. A must have for fans!

    • He-Man on Blu-ray!
It gets a star just for existing on blu ray. For the longest time it was said it couldn’t be done. The DVD sets took a lot of discs and there are still many with the blu ray set but the decrease in space is a positive for me in addition to the improved visuals. If you’re here you probably already know all about MOTU but if not…. This set is about a 80s cartoon that takes place on a planet called Eternia where a royal family and their friends battle an evil sorcerer named skeletor and his crew of colorful minions. The prince of Eternia obtains a magic sword that transforms him into the powerful he-man. Every episode has a certain character hiding for you to find during an episode and there’s always a positive message at the end making it a great watch for children and those of us who grew up with it. ... show more

    • Good set, but extra slot might confuse some.

The box set came in pretty good shape. The packaging is pretty decent. And the picture and sound is fantastic. The only thing that might confuse some folks is the empty Disc slot in season one half. The set has 13 discs, so there isn't any Discs missing.

    • Best the show has ever looked
Video quality on this release is very good. I'm very pleased. Looks better than an early 80's TV cartoon has any business looking. It's great to have the entire series on physical media in such good quality. Until next time....
