I think there is a problem with the product itself - not just the units I received. When using the SwitchFlux, my monitor would blink on and off the whole time. I bought these to use with a pair of smart glasses and my nintendo switch. The flashing of the screen off and on both made the game unplayable and nauseating. When I asked for a replacement unit because mine was malfunctioning, I received a unit with the exact same problem. These seem to be cheaply made and I doubt they have any quality assurance team members or else they would know that this product is unusable. Ihave tried connecting it to my Switch and my PS5 as the hosts and using my Viture Smart Glasses and a monitor as the receivers and no combination of devices has worked. Save your money and get a converter that costs a little more but is guaranteed to work! ... show more

This worked with adjusting settings for my xbox
Set name: HDMI to Mini DP Adapter
i used this product to run my xbox one x/s on a 27" apple LED cinema monitor. Power source cable plugs into back of the xbox to get its power. Plug and play. The only issue was, i was only able to get 720P to work. I had to change my settings on the xbox to DVI only vs auto set, and put the resolution on 720 and it worked. Takes a moment to load up but im just glad i can use an otherwise useless screen for something. Hope this helps others. ... show more

The usb c port failed so I purchased this item so I am able to use my docking station. The price was a bit steep but wanted to give it a try. The item get hot to the touch so I have to unplug item and let it cool down. Its easy to use and works out great for what I needed it for. The item does not charge my laptop. ... show more

Doesn't work with M1 MacMinis and and older MiniDP Mac display

I got this to make an older Mac display that only has a Mini DP input work with an M1 Mac Mini. Unfortunately, due to the hardware limitations of the computer, this did not work for me.
