  • Lets me 3d Model while at lunch!
Style: USB3.0+4KHDMI
As someone who frequently switches between my personal and work computers—especially during lunch breaks for 3D modeling work—the HDMI KVM Switch 2 Monitors 2 Computers 4K@60Hz has been a game changer. This device offers a seamless solution for managing multiple computers with ease, providing both functionality and convenience in a compact package. Here’s my detailed review after using it for a few weeks. Design and Build Quality The KVM switch is sturdy and well-built, with a minimalist design that fits well on a desk without taking up too much space. The device itself is relatively compact, making it easy to place on a desktop or under a desk without cluttering your workspace. The ports are clearly labeled, making connections straightforward, and the switch itself is designed for easy toggling between devices. Ease of Setup Setting up the KVM switch was quick and painless. The manual provided clear instructions, and I had my personal and work computers connected to the switch in under 15 minutes. The inclusion of two HDMI ports for dual monitors on each computer was a huge bonus for my 3D modeling workflow, allowing me to extend my desktop across both screens without issue. The 3 USB 3.0 ports are also an excellent feature, allowing me to easily switch my keyboard, mouse, and even my scanner and printer between the two computers without having to disconnect and reconnect cables. Performance and Features One of the standout features of this KVM switch is its 4K@60Hz support. As a 3D modeling enthusiast, I require crisp, high-definition visuals, and the switch delivers that flawlessly. Whether I’m working on a detailed design or watching high-definition content, the switch maintains excellent picture quality across both monitors. There is no noticeable lag or degradation in the video feed, even when switching between computers. The USB 3.0 ports perform well, allowing me to share peripherals between my two systems with zero latency. The ability to quickly toggle between my work and personal computers with a simple press of the button on the desktop controller is incredibly convenient. It eliminates the need to manually disconnect and reconnect cables, which can be time-consuming and frustrating when I’m in the middle of tasks. Dual Monitor Support For anyone who uses multiple monitors, the dual monitor support is a must-have feature. I was able to connect both monitors to the KVM switch, extending my desktop on both computers. This is particularly important for my 3D modeling, as I rely heavily on multiple windows and tools that span across multiple screens. The dual-monitor support works perfectly, allowing me to switch between my personal and work computers without disrupting my workflow. Reliability Over the past few weeks, the KVM switch has been rock-solid. I’ve used it every day, often toggling between systems multiple times during lunch breaks, and I’ve never encountered any issues. The switch reliably remembers the settings for both monitors, and I haven’t experienced any flickering, dropped connections, or lag. This reliability is crucial, especially when juggling multiple tasks on both computers. Final Thoughts Overall, the HDMI KVM Switch 2 Monitors 2 Computers 4K@60Hz is an excellent addition to my home office setup. It has significantly improved my workflow by allowing me to easily switch between my personal and work computers while sharing peripherals like my keyboard, mouse, and printer. Its performance is top-notch, with impressive 4K resolution support, seamless dual monitor functionality, and fast USB 3.0 ports. Whether you're a professional who needs to manage multiple systems or simply want a more efficient way to control your computers, this KVM switch is a highly recommended solution. ... show more

  • Works Great
Style: USB3.0+4KHDMI
This Dual Monitor KVM switch works very well. I have been using it for about a month now without a single issue. My favorite feature is the push button switch that comes with it. I mounted the button under my desk with the double sided sticky tape. So,so convenient. I also mounted the KVM switch under my desk to keep it and the cables out of the way. It's so small and light that I only used double sided sticky tape to secure it. Without a doubt I would buy this again. A superb value for great quality. Disregard all the cables in my pics, I have waaay more going on with my desk than the typical person. ... show more

  • Powerful Switch, But Some Quirks to Navigate
Style: USB3.0+4KHDMI
The media could not be loaded. Set this up for my home office to juggle work and personal computers. The 4K@60Hz output is crisp - no noticeable quality loss switching between systems. USB 3.0 ports are speedy, great for file transfers. The dual monitor support is a game-changer for productivity. Switching between computers is quick with the physical button. Now for the hiccups - initial setup was a bit confusing. The manual could use clearer diagrams. Had some issues with mouse lag on one system, fixed after a firmware update. The lack of hotkey switching is disappointing - have to reach for the button each time. Extended mode works well, but copy mode had some alignment issues on different sized monitors. One odd thing - occasionally loses connection after PC sleep, requiring a replug. Overall, it's a solid KVM for dual monitor setups. Just be prepared for some troubleshooting during setup. Four stars - powerful features, but needs some user-friendliness improvements. ... show more

  • Good KVM Switch at a Good Price
Style: USB3.0+8KDP
I purchased this so that I could connect my work laptop to the same monitor/keyboard/mouse as my home desktop and it's been working perfectly. Setup was easy and straightforward, all I had to do was plug it all in and it worked. I have it connected through a dock and that also has not caused any issues. The device is small and easy to keep tucked away on my desk under my laptop stand, but you could easily hide it on a lower shelf or something and pull just the control switch up to your desk. I had it for a while now and no complaints, happy with it for the price I paid. ... show more

  • Works perfectly . . .
Style: USB3.0+4KHDMI
...until it doesn't. This KVM switch is great, amazing and worth every penny when working. However, it may just be my PC/Laptop combination, but ever so often, it will randomly disconnect and I cannot determine why. I delayed reviewing because when I first installed it, it would drop out multiple times every day but then go a day or two just fine. Then, it'd start over. For the past month or so, I haven't had a single issue though (about 2 weeks after I got it). Then, just this past weekend, it started blinking again. I did notice if you reboot the affected computer (seems one channel will work and the other is buggered), It will settle down and work just fine. It's probably not a bad idea to reboot once in awhile anyway, but I leave my computers going 24-7-365. Now, I do have my laptop in a dock I pull out about every weekend, but the disconnect affects both the Laptop and PC. Regardless, I'd recommend because the alternative is manually connecting KVM each time you want to switch, which what you want to avoid by looking into KVM's in the first place. IF you have 2 PC's permanently on your desk, it may work much better for you. Just know if it starts blinking out, reboot the computer and you should be good. ... show more

  • Great product very easy to setup and works perfectly
Style: USB3.0+4KHDMI
I really like the "remote" button control. I can hide the KVM and all the cables behind the desk and have one convenient little postage stamp sized button on my desk to switch back and forth. I use both Windows 11 and Linux with no problem at all. The USB cables could be a little longer so that's why the 4 stars. Most people probably have their PCs closer together than I do so that most likely won't be an issue for the vast majority of customers. No software necessary it's completely plug and play. ... show more
