I own the Sorrel Joan of Arctic boots - which are fabulous, but are essentially giant Moon boots. For an upcoming trip to Europe, I wanted something a little less bulky, but warm and waterproof. I bought and returned another pair of Sorrels that were more like brown combat boots. They weren't lined and warm like these are, and they were uncomfortably tight across the bridge of my foot. These boots, right out of the box, we're amazing. I'll wear them around a little bit, but they don't need much breaking in. They're insulated throughout so I've no doubt they'll be warm. I wear a size 9 and bought a size 9.5. I'm glad I did. I feel like a nine might have been a bit restrictive. 9.5 is not sloshy by any means, but has just enough room for me to wear a thicker sock. Unlike the Sorrels I returned, these are super easy to lace up. And, bonus, they don't make my feet look terribly large like some of my other boots do. (I actually thought for a moment when I was unboxing them that I ordered the wrong size because they look so small) There's aggressive traction on the bottom, so I'm pretty comfortable I'll be good to walk on cobblestones and icy patches without much concern.

Slipper fits true to size in my opinion. I was told I have chronic plantar fasciitis and tendinitis, so I haven’t been able to walk around my house barefoot without being in pain. I got these slippers to help alleviate any discomfort and they have helped. I wear them at all times when I’m inside the house and they are holding up really well. Super sturdy sole and my feet don’t overheat even with the fur lined inside. Would 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a quality slipper.

I am in love with these Sorels, they are absolutely adorable. I got the dark gray color, and they're a deep charcoal, will go with anything, and have a little more uniqueness than common black or brown. They are incredibly comfortable, but they do run quite snug, so size up a FULL size if you want room for thick socks. At the very least, size up 1/2 size; my toe came comfortably near the tip on a size 8 when I'm usually a size 7 to 7.5 length-wise. My feet are slightly wide, definitely not narrow, and these are snug at the sides too, but not too tight because I sized up. So both length and width run evenly small, so don't worry about sizing up and having them too long or wide...the boots fit like a glove at 1/2 size up, so size up a full size if you want room for thick socks. They feel like they will probably stretch out a bit with wear, but no guarantee there. They are very supportive, I will not be twisting an ankle walking over snow/ice while wearing these! They feel very secure, they hug my feet. They are also warm and soft inside. I haven't tried out how waterproof they are yet, but I'm not worried because I have other boots in the same material, and they have held up beautifully and always kept my feet completely dry (which is why I chose these boots with the same material.) These boots are so cute and stylish that I plan to wear them whenever it's cold, not just in rain or snow. I am seriously debating purchasing other colors. The style of these are pretty timeless, I know I'll love them just as much five years from now. And these are Sorels, so I know they will last a very long time. Great purchase. EDIT AFTER WEARING IN RAIN/SNOW: These boots are even more comfortable as I've broken them in, and I also hiked in them, and wore them in snow and rain, and my feet were perfectly dry. I got no blisters from them. They did stretch out a bit (wore with thick socks), and are even more comfortable now. The grip was great while hiking, even over wet rocks and mud, and the ankle support was perfect. They have no water stains. I'm going to order other colors for sure.

Got these wonderful boots on Nov 18th and it's now Feb 7th! PROS & CONS + side notes for more details PROS -Very Very warm. Wore these in negative degree weather and they kept me feet consistently warm, even after stepping in slush/snow. I get cold feet all the time so trust me on this. -Colors are great but the grey is my fave! -The style is cute, has a nice really soft fuzzy sheep-like outer for cuteness factor but also for warmth -Great sole, they have good treads, I haven't slipped at all during this winter, and I love that the sole has stayed pretty white considering I'm rough on my shoes -Comfort, these boots feel like your favorite slippers, but boot form! I have high arches and I've not had any pain while wearing these boots, absolutely no restrictiveness! These boots work with your foot movement, so you can wiggle your toes and it doesn't feel like your feet are trapped! -Not bulky at all, one thing I hate about some winter boots is how bulbous/huge/misproportionate they look to the rest of my body! These fit perfectly, like an extension of my body - CUTE -High quality, none of the stitching has failed me, no rips, nothing! CONS -as you can see in the pictures, the white fuzzy parts have some blue dye on them, and that is from my jeans, so if you have any jeans that bleed, just know it will stay on there, I haven't tried cleaning those parts because it doesn't really bother me too much, but I know for some it might be an issue. -Laces, the laces on these boots MUST be double knotted, they are slick material and will come undone with just one knot -Price, these gems are pricey, I had them in my cart for a long while before I bit the bullet, but trust me they are worth your money -The ankles do slouch a bit and the layers of fabric do move around when you put on the boots, you cannot just slip these things on, you do have to untie them to take them off and tie them to put them on each time Notes I did see some reviews saying that they "slouch" around your ankles and they sort of do but not badly, as I mentioned before, these shoes form around your foot, so it gives you more freedom with how you want them to fit. If you want a tighter hold on your ankle, you can tighten your laces, if you want a looser feel then loosen them up. These boots do keep my feet very warm, they are comfortable, great style, I've worn these in snow/rain/negative degree weather and they have done a great job. Overall very high quality and I did shop around for about half a year before deciding on these, they were worth the wait and now I have a pair of boots for many winters to come.

May run a 1/2 small. It may be due to the faux fur on the inside of the boot around the base of the foot and toe that takes up room and makes it a bit smaller. I have usually found this brand to run true to size.
