The idea behind this is amazing. However if the tree you’re setting up in has any sort of kick back the threaded stud doesn’t stick out far enough to slide onto your stand. A lineman’s rope would help but of course at that point, having to use the other straps still, what’s the point of the bracket? It fits in most of my trees but I have had 3 spots now that have been an absolute pain. Other than that it is a great product. Kind of limits you to what tree you can go in but saves your behind in a lot of scenarios. ... show more

    • Great product. POOR shipping.
I like the deer stand fine. It's what I ordered. However, I paid rush delivery price of $13.80 extra to get the brackets 14 days ago. Still don't have the brackets. Not happy. UPDATE- So I spoke with amazon, they canceled the order and refunded the money because they claim the items were "lost in transit". Then, I get a notice from them telling me to return the items when I receive them. WHAT? I need the items.....I thought you said they were lost. Guess what, the items show up at my house the next day. So now I guess I will be charged for them and that's fine, but they better not charge me the $13.80 I payed in expedited shipping. Will it help? Yes. Negative is that it does add weight and is heavy side, run and gun setup I might not use since you have to still use the other 2 straps, they could make much lighter and smaller to just hold the stand till strapped in. Not sure if I'll by more.

    • Ease of hanging stand is remarkable!
I am new at using hanging stands, and this item made it simple and more importantly safe to do! I moved the stand 5 times this past hunting season and had no issues at all. I used this with the Hawk Helium sticks and a linesman belt.

    • Worth the Money
Get this if it isn't already added in the box- well worth it. I have hung many tree stands over the years and this bracket makes things far easier. All companies need to include a device like this. Until they do, these Hawk models are all I'll be buying.

    • Quick but bulky
Makes hanging a hawk stand much easier but it comes at a price if you're using a lightweight, run-n-gun type setup. It's heavy and bulky. Had to buy a small dump pouch to connect to my harness to hold this bracket and bottom stand cam buckle strap. Very solid once in the tree though.

For us wanting a light load packing in with stix and stand, this doesn't really with it weighing 8 lbs to facilitate the easiness of hanging stand on tree. Still not as easy as you'd think it'd be and I've hung hundreds of stands over the years without an accessory like this.
